Halotestin questions...

ad

So I've been looking and researching halo and think I want to run it with my next cycle. Possibly next 2 cycles before my first power lifting meet in june. I want to compete at 198 but will do the 220 if I am strong enough.
For all who is gonna ask...
Ht. 6 ft
Wt. 205 lbs
Ag. 38 yrs
Lifting for 2 1/2 years
Gonna be my 4th cycle... I have used test c, test sust, dbol, decca, tren a so far in prior cycles. No issues except a lil bacne and slight aggression on tren.
My questions are...
Would decca be needed for the extra strength/weight I will be pushing? Current max are DL 485, BP 315, SQ 405...
Is 3 or 4 weeks of 25 mg ED good enough to gain from it?
Should I stay away from it and run something else?
Any input please give it to me straight or send a FR. Thanks y'all!!!

I did... it's awesome stuff!!!
I ran 20mg preworkout starting 3 weeks out and took 50 mg day before and day of. My deadlift went up 45lbs, my bench went up 320lbs and squat up 25lbs. I could have went way more but I didn't expect to pull the weight I did. All lifts I got prs and had alot left in me. Went 4 for 4 in all 3 events, broke all state records and got gold. Weighed in at 207 and competed in 220 class. Already got more for my next meet...

@skinny2swole, I'm curious if you ever ran Halo for your cycle. Fill us in when you get a chance, and thanks!

halo at 50mg ED for 2 weeks was a ride for me. noticeable mental flip switch and some slight depression at first.... as soon as i realized the side effects i was able to control them more.

this was the first PED that produced noticeable mental changes for me. I'm pretty calm and chill but at my side job that i do to help a friend (bounce for a night club when one of his bouncers takes off or calls in sick) It turned me into an aggressive asshole when tension got a little high.

its definitely awesome in the gym the added aggression and strength was very welcome, outside the gym i have to make a mental note to not react, but think.

I love deca in every cycle I do. I'm also going to compete in my first Powerlifting meet in March. The advice I received was test and deca, and 2 or three weeks out from the meet add in Dbol, adrol, or halo. I can personally say that I have knees that ache for a day or two after my squat and deadlift days, and deca totally relieves that. Also my knees just feel the same after the cycle as they did before, and not any worse.

@MAG the Mighty, how did your meet in March go? Also, did you use dbol, adrol or Halo for a lead up?

Great info man... Thank you.
I was thinking
Wk 1-12 test @900mg wk split in 3
Wk 1-8 dbol @40mg ed
Wk 8-12 halo @25mg ed

If I can get some decca then toss that in wk 2-12 @2-400mg wk split in 2

Good luck in march!!!

Mag is right; that's way too long to be running orals. Halo is extremely toxic as it is, and adding that to an eight week dbol run wouldn't be ideal for your health.
Plus the dbol (and possibly deca, if you go that route) will hold a lot of water/increase your weight significantly.

If I were you (and I stay around my comp weight year round, so weight gain is an issue for me), I'd definitely drop the dbol and either switch out the deca to a different compound that doesn't retain as much water or go with npp. I also run halo four weeks out from the meet but I never run orals other than pre-meet due to their toxicities. And don't forget a good liver care if you go the halo route!

And good luck at the meet

i say this out of concern for your health. You know your body better than anyone, but that's entirely to much time on oral compounds. The 8 weeks of dBol is to much, and to follow it up w 3 weeks of halo is a bad idea. I guarantee you will not be feeling well come time for the meet due to the oral toxicity. Keep it simple. Test and deca or npp, and add on the oral of your choice for the last 3 weeks. This will be a great foundation for building strength, and you will be feeling great when it's time to compete.

Hey . OK so a couple quick questions...
You have researched it and are thinking about running it thats great but, what about the info you recieved waants to make you run it?
What are you hoping to achieve from its use?
Is it aggression?
Hardening effect?
Strength?
Usually we can suggest a better alternative for you with the right info.
And you mentioned running Deca to protect the joints! Deca does not protect the joints, it does however give them a nice lube job and gives the feeling of improved joint performance when on it. It's when you come off your knees will start to feel it again and sometimes this may cause damage as you are masking a problem while on it. Just something to think about.

I am intrigued by the strength gains without adding on weight so I can stay at 198 class...
Worried about the aggression aspect...
Decca just to keep me lubed... lol
Knees and shoulder been feeling it since I stopped decca about 2 months ago...

What you have laid out up top is going to add a considerable amount of weight if your not real careful with the diet. The deca and dbol alone will pull 10lbs 8 of which will be water, not to mention almost a gram of test. You will gain a ton of strength but also some mass if you don't manage your macros...I would start the halo @15 and work it up, some people have a hard time on it with aggression... Just my 2 cents
