Tips on keeping cholesterol in check

ad

My cholesterol and triglycerides are always high. I take Lipitor but that only seems to work while I'm off cycle. If any one could share their experience, some tips on how to keep it low would be helpful to the community. I think it's an important topic that doesn't get talked about a lot. If mine is high I'm sure there is a lot of us with the same problem.

I am on the same medicine. I got my blood drawn couple weeks ago. And it was perfect. I'm on test and DECA to.
I think a lot of it has to do w the compounds u put in your body as well. BC, I know that when I'm on tren, mast or Winnie. My blood work goes to shit. And if u look at those compounds in detail. They are known to do that.

I've tried a lot of things OTC. And I haven't found anything that works. It's all about what compounds u take. At least that's what I've noticed w myself. But, we all r different so who knows.

I have had high cholesterol for many years. I am taking Crestor which has worked best for me. My doctor prescribed Crestor along with SloNiacin (You can buy on Amazon) since they work together to lower LDL and raise HDL. I'm also taking fish oil as well. The last blood test I took during cycle (about a month ago) my LDL - 72, HDL - 12, Total Cholesterol - 116. My triglycerides were 160 (elevated but not bad. My HDL is always fucked but when off cycle usually gets to about 32. My doctor is more concerned with the LDL and the Crestor seems to work. Maybe a different satin would work. I have tried many and Crestor is the best for me.

I think my suggestions are pretty worthless since your already taking an rx drug but i lowered mine dramatically while ON cycle by starting this new regimen of supps. 2400mgs of red yeast rice twice a day plus 20mgs of policansol once a day along with a few grams of fish oil but i had been taking the fish oil forever. This literally cut my triglycerides from like 140 to 70 and did the same for my LDL. If you decide to use any of this make sure to check the drug interactions as RYR is like a mild satin, or better yet check with your doctor. Best to stay away from orals that are known to be harsh on the lipids, which is basically all of them, stay away from tren, do a decent amount of somewhat intense cardio and keep the diet free of saturated fat. Not sure what else can be done but this is a potentially dangerous problem even if its only when your on cycle. If your cycle 4-6 months out of the year then you have a poor lipid profile for half the year every year. Gotta be almost as bad as the peole who have it year round. But in my personal experience i dont have any problems on stuff like test and npp, only orals and tren.

OTC red yeast rice no longer carries the cholesterol lowering ingredients. The FDA decided it was new and banned it in the ingredients last year. It used to work; Big Pharma was pissed so they had it removed. I'll show you the article Iron because I used it myself and loved until those bastards took it away. Here is the link as well to just one of the sites http://www.medicinenet.com/red_yeast_rice_and_cholesterol/article.htm

What is the present status of red yeast rice?

Small scale studies using pharmaceutical-grade red rice yeast have continued to demonstrate efficacy and safety. However, in the United States it is no longer legal to sell supplements of red yeast rice that contain more than trace amounts of cholesterol lowering substances. For example, the active ingredients of red rice yeast have been removed from Cholestin marketed in the United States. (Hypocol, another product containing red yeast rice is no longer being sold in the United States.)

The reasons the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ruled that it is illegal to sell red yeast rice that contains more than trace amounts of the cholesterol-lowering substances and to promote red yeast rice for lowering cholesterol levels.

First, statin drugs are associated with muscle and kidney injury when used alone or combined with other medications. There is concern that patients who already take statin drugs with or without these other medications may increase their risk of muscle or kidney injury.
Second, the FDA considers the products containing red yeast rice with high levels of cholesterol lowering substances to be new, unapproved drugs for which marketing violates the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

So once again we have to get it from over seas like the rest of the good shit.

I had heard they were trying to do away with it but I didn't know they actually did. Well shit idk how I lowered mine lol. Something in that regimen worked.

Definitely everything else was lol. Anytime you see something come out that has great effects on the body; plan on it being either banned or lose that property because of the fkn fda and pharma. I
