+ 4 MODS
yesterday we started thinking about possibly bringing in another MOD or 2 for training, we had a guy in mind but after talking to him yesterday and today it aint gonna work. So we would like to find out who is interested in trying to be a MOD. We haven't made the decision to definitely bring anyone in. We are just kicking the tires in the event that we need to consider adding a member or two as the site is growing and membership/activity is up. Personally I'd love to see a female presence on our mod team again. Brings a lot of balanced rationale to a site filled with testosterone, (literally).
If you put four women together they will kill each other... Let's not kid ourselves.. We all know women only hate two things.. Cheating men and other women. Or at least that's what I've been told..LOL
its not a whole lot different for alpha men to work together either. This job is about getting along with the people you have to work with whether you like or agree with them. We are looking for someone that can not only handle themselves with the masses but that can handle themselves in our forum and not cause problems that we will have to live with and likely deal with at some later point. I can assure you there will be uncomfortable situations to deal with, as a trainee and as a MOD.
I agree that regardless of gender, age, race, national origin, or disability every single individual can protest to being right. I deal with 900+ daily, generally explaining how and why you can or can not do certain things... I assure you I can handle masses and handle each and every person with the up most respect regardless of my personal preference or belief. Also, I've been here for a moment... So far nothing's made me uncomfortable. However, I expect that every situation will yield something new and unexpected. I adapt easily.
AnonShe's got my vote. I'd be very happy to have a KNOWLEDGEABLE woman as a mod, whoever it be.
I've actually read articles and what not about women having control over things. In my industry (oilfield) this is actually becoming common practice with higher job titles. Women do have the tendency to put up with less bullshit.

I know nitti said their only going for 2 but I think it should be between catalyst, carlos, rusty and gearhead (even though gear kinda opted out already lol). All these guys imho have proven their worth as members here and I think they would all make great mods. I say put these guys in a pool so to speak and ask member's to take a vote or maybe the mods can selectively do their thing. All 4 would be a great choice.....just my opinion

I hope this does happen and give a chance for some new guns to step up to the plate! Some new blood that will become the future representatives eroids, this is a challenging and hard decision! It's a hard job and few could handle it and It takes major cojones to step up to the plate.
I don't know about cojones so much as integrity and the time to contribute to it. Time alone would exclude many of us. This time in my life there would be no way (not that I'm even close to being qualified) that I could be a mod......
This is what it would take to become a mod, no bullshit!
All the names mentioned would be fine. Ed though comical seems like a serious person. This front of comedy relief would add some diversity to the mod pool as long as he takes the trash out when necessary.....

All depends what you guys are after, obviously trustworthy, reliable cats but lets say your looking for that, plus a duo of styled out straight cool muh fucka bringing a fresh flava to the site I'd I say go with the likes of. Monks Kitchen and a solid no nonsense cat like Pale Rider, pretty deadly combo if you ask me

Fortunately, I'm a noob without the long eroids tenure you would want to see in such a position. Secondly, I can't even imagine the time commitment - as one of the owners of a small company, my workday never really ends. Thirdly, if BFG thought that Hollywood was not quite the fit he wanted - I would absolutely be out of the question and wouldn't last a week! LOL
Second on rusty. Hands down the most helpful brother (admin excluded) in the forums. Dude is level headed even on tren and dealing with monster666. Ever since i got here and back when he was fast48 his advice, knowledge, and experience has been solid.

I agree with those choices as well. I would include irongame. He is always on here and is full of knowledge. However there are a few member with adv tags that would scare the shit out of me if they were mods. Their head is about as big as it can be already.
