Hey everyone, just wanted to say that if one is worried about hair loss....whether or not you are taking AS....Avodart AKA Dutasteride is a great medication to stop and partially reverse hair loss. I took Finasteride for years after my hair loss started and got a decent result. Then I heard about Avodart and how it works much better for most people. It did for me...my thinning hairs thickened way up and I got more hairs on my scalp as well. I even had two or three thick hairs come in in the "dead zone" that I lost completely in the years before I heard about Fin.

There are several sites where you can buy them without an rx. I found one site where you can get 360 tabs at 71 cents each and that's the lowest I've seen so far.

Some sites caution the use of Avodart with any impaired liver function and there are other possible side effects so read up on them. Some people worry it causes prostate cancer but most of what I have read seems to suggest....AND I AM NOT A MEDCAL TYPE PERSON AT ALL...that this is not the case and that Avodart just makes it harder to detect if you don't have your baseline readings of PSA to start with. There are plenty of articles out there about this.

I seem to have had no sides whatsoever after about 6 years on 1mg daily. I wish I had started it in my 20's which I think is when my hair loss began because after a time my experience was that a lot of it just won't come back.
