Nice! keep pullin heavy. Have you tried incorporating deficit deadlifts into your program? They've been great for me, really improve bar speed when you go back to coventional.
Now that's the best idea I heard in a long time bro, no but tomorrow is back day and going for 650 lbs rack pull bro... so maybe next week I can start doing some deficits next.. I had another person suggest it too... Well see how it goes brother!! Thank you!!
At only 5'5" and 185lbs, 2x Mr. Olympia Franco Columbu deadlifted 750 and benched 525!
Pfft. I can do that in my sleep.
When I'm dreaming.
I can't wait to prove myself to everyone here.. When I deadlift 700 lbs... by the end of next year...WATCH OUT EROIDS... THERE'S A CHAMPION ON THE HORIZON, AND IT'S ME.
thats exactly what i use for shrugs. except I lose my grip at 365 so I use the golds hooks on 4 plates and up
Ever tried "lateral raise shrugs" for traps? Grab some dumbbells, lean slightly forward, do a shrug, hold it, then do laterals. Holding in the shrugged position all the way through the set. Guarantee you'll be cryin with 20lb DB's. Massive trap pumps and crazy burn.
How many reps until failure curious
do them all the time.
I shrug the top portion on the DL...
Love that feeling. Dat Trap pump is among the most satisfying feelings.
It's really hard to hold anything above 500lbs without straps and chalk.. by time I made it this far, my hands we're bleeding and burning.. gotta push through the pain brother... btw thanks for the love dude
Cool. I rack pulled 555lbs last week myself and was stoked.
Yup next week im going after 600 lbs and possibly 650 or 700 lbs... will post pictures..
ApuNo shit! I'm just gonna go back to looking at Mrs Kfizzle's pics

ApuI've seen it mentioned below a little, I don't mean to be a party pooper but if your goal is to get on stage, the amount of weight you're able to lift is irrelevant. Concentrate of form and muscle contraction...if you want. Ronnie Coleman was very gifted in the strength department for a bodybuilder. He's also had a fuck-ton of spinal fusion surgeries. Be safe. Just a little advice from officer friendly. But in the end, do whatever the FUCK you wanna do! ;~)
ApuLol, zactly
You get a very different look to the muscle when you incorporate powerlifting styles into your bodybuilding training, its well worth the effort. And injuries don't happen if you train smart. I do heavy squat dead bench rack pulls. Not one injury in 8 years. Just gotta leave your ego at home is all.
ApuYeah man, I know what the fuck I'm talking about. Btw that's a nice photo. A nice LITTLE PHOTO!
Jeez man. passes aromasin
ApuDon't be gay now. Didn't you get my movie reference, fucker? No, I was just in the middle of squatting and didn't feel like going into it. I'm not saying lifting heavy weight doesn't have a very valuable place in bodybuilding, I'm just saying if your goal is to get on stage, your objective in the gym should be more focused on muscle contraction rather than form. This young gentleman completely took me the wrong way, I was also unaware that he was interested in powerlifting as well as bodybuilding. Injuries are are just part of the game as a powerlifter. There! You happy! Lol
Nah I missed the reference lol. Sorry bro. What movie. I know I'm gonna feel 100% down syndrome when you tell me the answer but lay it on me.
ApuChopper! Neville is in the cell next to Chopper, Chopper is looking at the newspaper, saying how little Neville's picture is. Cause Chopper was all cocky and shit, nah mean
Son of a bitch. Hahahaha. I can play that entire scene out in my head too. Full Downs syndrome.
ApuLol, I love that shit. I probably got a couple words wrong though
Dude. Fr.
We're done with this shit bro.. everybody got off on the wrong foot and lets all start fresh... I accepted you FR now its water under the bridge..
It is not only my intention to by a IFBB pro but to be a powerlifting champion too. I believe in myself and I will do what I want too, to me this comment is completely negative, with a hint of jealousy. Look back into the 70's how much did they deadlift, bench press and squat.. a few hundred pounds more than me. And guess what? They were legends, you think they became legends listening to your kind of bullshit.. they didn't they laughed at it and kept going.. so guess what Apu, I'm going to accomplish what I've dreamed about, and the rest will fall by the waste side.
ApuYikes! I'm sorry you took it that way.
Yeah dude to me, it sounded like some patronizing BS, I catch from jealous assholes around some of these gyms. I'm a really nice guy bro, but I don't take negative bs dude.. nobody is going to stop me, I will accomplish my dreams. You infacted sparked motivation in me to do 20 reps a set tomorrow instead of 12. I know a lot bro about bodybuilding, dieting and aas dude.. not being an asshole but, thanks anyways.. I got this under control dude.
That's rite bro go even harder get that 20, push until you hit the top!
Like my buddy says, go till your head pops LOL
Now its time to start doing deads standing on a 3" tall box to get that strength up when coming off the floor! +1
LOL I just plan on doing really really heavy hammy curls and low rep immense weight squats
Beast! +1

Many thanks sic.. it's time to get big bro XD
Nice brother, be safe though!+2
Many thanks bro, I'm going after that 500 DL in about a month bro.. rack pulling it like butter bro
Lot of weight bro.. Good job keep it up+2
Thanks Bro, I'm going for 600 next week
My only advice is becareful and don't pull a muscle.. Then it's a huge set back..
I'm just getting started bro... LOL
