+ 8 summer cut under way
In the last pics I posted, I cut down from 230 and went down to 191. My diet was never great so I had a lot of fat to lose and it took that much weight loss to get it done.
That turned out to be an eye opener as far as how to eat and more importantly, how not to eat. This time around I put back on the weight over the winter by eating the right foods. Back up to 234 at my heaviest. (All morning weights, btw) Much better start of the cutting season this time around. In this pic I'm down to 218 so far. My goal is to be as lean as last summer (8% but prolly lower) and be at least 10 pounds heavier.
I'm using DGs test prop and npp and maybe do a var finish the last four weeks. Just starting week #4 of an eight eeek cycle. So far, my weight has been steadily dropping while my lifts are still increasing. Happy with the way I'm looking at this point.
When finished, ill add some start and finish pics to show what good gear and a strict diet can do.
Thanks DG!

Looking very solid. Thats some serious cutting and a huge weight difference.
Looking Good Bro +1
Thanks brother!
AnonThe bi's are popping well. Laughed my ass off when I enlarged the picture and saw the face lol.
Artist at work! I had another pic but my shoulders looked like I was using synthol. Almost retarded looking.
You're a similar age to me, so I don't know how you find it but bulking and adding 5%bf only to have to trim it off is becoming more difficult the older I get. I've now spent the last 18months around 10% or less, and I'm finding life easier that way.
You got that right brother!!! I'm actually a couple years older than what my profile says. I kinda like seeing that lower number. I know I don't have any blood pressure issues at a lower body fat percentage, so I can relate to what you are saying. Its also easier when I tie my shoes.
lol - shoelaces I hear you. I'm around 260 at 6-1 so they're challenging to say the least! Flexibility isn't my strong point.
Great job brother.. I agree with everything you put there.. I myself am cutting down and I can't believe how small I am getting.. all of that extra weight just kind of makes you look bigger than you are Lol
Don't let it bother you, its all in your head. I've been told I'm looking bigger after losing weight. I think its the extra definition that creates the appearance of looking bigger. Good luck with your cut!
Thanks brother.. and you are looking fantastic..
Damn I thought I read DIRTY BLONDE.. Hanging my head walking out of the room still searching
Haha! Uh, thanks?
Yes sir i hate when i read the term dirty bulk. You don't have to get fat to gain muscle, keep it clean, makes it a lot easier to make adjustments to your training when u can actually see what's going on +3
I agree and thanks!
I hear ya on that one man. I'm cutting now paying for a long dirty bulk. I'm going to watch my diet much closer this winter and never let myself get above 10-12% again. +1
The struggle is real! Thanks brother!
x2 I don't want to see myself over 12-13% its really not doing much for you when you hold that much fat.. and you cant see shit anyways!!
There's a ifbb bodybuilder that works out in my gym regularly that during a conversation said, if you can't see your abs your fat. I would never put it that plainly, but looking back maybe there is some truth to it.
I am starting to think like that.. I like it better that way.. there is no reason to be a high bf% anyways.. I like that quote from arnold it always keeps me motivated "it's simple if it jiggles it's fat" Lol
Ya man I agree. I wanna look good year round from now on . I look like shit when my bf is high especially my face.
totally agree.. same here...
Who would have thought not all weight is good weight? Good luck with the cut. I will have to say though, I found cutting to be much easier than bulking. The volume of food you have to force down made me hate food. Bulking on cheeseburgers is easy. Bulking on fish, chicken, brown rice and sweetpotatoes every single day sucks ass!
YES cutting Is way easier lol. Most people would disagree but I like being able to eat like a normal person and only eat 2500 calories a day instead of force feeding 4500-5000. But ya I made the mistake of getting to caught up in scale weight and disregarding if it's quality or not. When you start as skinny as I did at 135lbs any time I see the scale moving I was happy. But ya I know bulking on clean food is tough. I tried it last winter and couldn't get down 3500 calories of egg whitew oatmeal chicken and brown rice. Impossible for me. I bulked for 3 years straight and the first 1.5 is where I really fucksd up just eating anything in sight. The last year or so I've kept it natural, steak whole eggs whole milk potatoes rice. But you won't catch me bulking on boneless skinless chicken and brown rice . I can barely eat 2500 clean calories lol. Who knows maybe I will. Can't wait for bulking season
