Test FLU - Causes and Thoughts?
Just wondering if anyone wants to elaborate as to the perceived causes of what is commonly referred to as "test flu". I just got done with a vicious episode of it. I mean, I literally felt like the Devil's Doormat.
For a longer account of my symptoms and concern, please review my forum posting with the title: BAD Reaction to Anavar. Let's just summarize here and say that it was an epic cocktail of chills, nausea, side aches, cramping, diarrhea, fatigue, and severe abdominal bloating.
Some say "test flu" is the natural response of your immune system seeing the extraneous introduction of high level amounts of hormones as an invasive agent - and it starts defensive mechanisms that make you feel ill.
Others say it's the effect of bad gear. Or the particular result of a specific AAS compound that your body rejects.
In my case, I think it was a combination of test flu, and my body's natural aversion to anavar. It went in shellshock mode until the anvar half life cleaned out of my system.
What are other people's experiences of cycles that started wrong out of the gate because of test flu?

Test flu is real....I found out recently with my 1st run with test prop. Started out at 150mg eod and everything was goin good. On week 2 I did my injection early went to work, everything was cool? Later that day I was sweating like a sumo in a sauna, freezing cold and my body was real sensitive to touch. All I wanted to do is get home in my boxers and bundle up. After I fell asleep it looked as if someone dumped buckets of water in my bed from the sweat, it was unreal.
I lowerd my dose down to 100mg eod and all that stopped. The influx in exogenous hormone's sent my body into turbulence (test flu).

Yes, test flu is real. Yes, you're injecting your body with FOREIGN substance. Anyone thinking otherwise needs to read whats in steroids PRIOR to injecting.
Foreign.....oils, carriers, BA, bb, eo and the list goes on and on. Hormones at high doses also causes issues. Shifting, switching or midifying mid cycle WILL cause test flu.
Y'all better get your study on.
so me switching from a bad pip test e to a new sources test-e will make me have a chance of getting this? why you telling me this hooker :(

RustyhookerNot at all. I didn't get test flu at all til year n half ago. Simple cycles, not so much but complex cycle can do it for me. I jam the B-C-Zinc and it clears quick.
One of the guys on here never ever got pip. When it finally bit him, he understood. Weird how and when it hits.
Pip and I know each other very well, I remember my first few months on cycle, I was doing the "300 strut".
For those that don't know the 300 strut its pip so bad you hardly can walk you literally glide your feet little, forget going up the stairs.
Test flu I guess I have been one of the lucky few. I have gone up to 750mg pw and never experienced it. But then again I take c-b-zinc and magnisum every day along with a few other preventative supps

Me, personally I do not believe in test flu. My 2cents your body can not attack a hormone it produces it self.
In my eyes the gear is dirty, or your allergic to what's added to the hormones "carriers" that's my two cents.
Anavar is another story, I know people that can not tolerate it at all, were I can run 100mg a day with no issue.
It's easy to blame the gear, but diet, sleep, life styles while on cycle also effect how you feel
Are you sure you anavar these sound a lot like sides of Winny or something else...not doubting you OP just asking your confidence level on said var
That's the thing: no way to validate. I mean, my purchase was made with the express intent of using anavar. But who knows? I mean, out of all AAS compounds anavar is the most likely to be faked. If it was faked, who the hell knows what with... could have been winny, superdrol, anadrol, etc.
Most of these ugl sources assume that you will never take it further beyond dissatisfaction. Who really has the time, money, or access to do lab tests on what it ACTUALLY is?
Yeah I mean I'm not saying that you didn't just have a bad reaction to var I'm sure its possible i ran I'm allergic to benedryl which is insane...but half of those sides sounds like Winny or a diuretic... Either way brotha just trying to look out for ya
i think you dont agree with anavar, almost like you were poisoned, id be getting kidney and liver checked if i were you, your body may be struggling with removal of excess toxins.
