Shit when i was in ICU they told me I was going to be in the hospital 6-8 weeks total. I was only there 19 days. So yeah it could be worse. lets say i was using it at number 4
how many iu is that?
if i wanted more than 4 clicks do you just keep rotating the pen past 4 back around to like 1 or 2
sorry guys i have never used these and jus trying to figure out my dosing i have emptied one pen
yeah that guide is not easy to understand but you just use the cap to select the number of clicks the actual number of click shows up at the end with the push button and the conversion isn't great like I have 15iu pens if I want to run 2iu or .66mg then each click is .07mg (got this from the dosing chart on the site) so I would need to run 9clicks and a partial so then I have to choose whether to run 9 clicks and be a little under 2iu or 10clicks and be a little over...if you have any questions about using the pen let me know im decent at it
ps with the cap you can only add 5 clicks at a time so if you need 9 clicks you have to turn it all the way once and then put it back to 0 and do 4 more clicks
I use insulin pins and draw from the pen to save myself the headache.
