How do you take these research liquids?

Do you let it sit under your tongue for a while? How long? Afterwards do you swallow it or spit it out? Or do you just skip letting it sit under your tongue and just swallow it?

I have some liquid clomid and it tastes like cherry dimetapp with poison added. It is nasty, but I guess I know it is real. I have to chase it with something and I still have that taste in my mouth for an hour or two afterwards.
I take mine in a shot glass with cranberry ginger ale. If the cranberry ginger ale is still fairly new and still has that kick to ir then it will help with the god awful taste!
I like to use an oral string and shoot it back and chase it with water. If it taste really bad, mix it with OJ
