There seems to be a lot if chatter and confusion about how this works. Let me put this in perspective for you. So a 5 year old could understand! When a member submits a source ,this page is created. Just because the source makes an account and has a discussion or review page doesn't mean they are an active registered source here. Sure there are sources under review that don't want to be. But they have no say. They can however choose to interact or not. So a source joins like this one right? They have a member submit their lab and site etc. They contact the admin for verification. That entire process is to ensure that they are reputable ,they have a business history And an active website with an established clientele. Why you ask? FOR YOUR SAFETY!! So let's say we didn't have verification am it wasn't painstakingly long. What happens when you guys cling to a source because he's soooo friggen cool and stand up. Plus he calls you bro! You send your hard earned money to him. A couple other guys send their money. They get to use the gear and they write a fantastic review. All of the sudden the source has 100 new members lining up for his gear. What used to happen you ask? Pre-verification? THEY FUCKIN BEAT EVERYONE! You guys wana be scammed? Do you want things the way they used to be or are you Gona stop complaining and trust our process,? We have it in place to protect you all. Not make things hard. Fuck! Patience is a virtue. If a source is so overly eager to get rolling on eroids, that tells me they must not be very busy and don't have much of an established clientele. That indicates that they are fairly new and raises a red flag! That's part of the reason it takes so long. We want to see how they handle being told to wait. So all you guys that have a problem with how we do things, go back to about a year and a half ago. Or 2 years ago when we had pop up scam sources every friggen week! Now we have NONE! Good day ppl!
I don't remember which of my predecessors coined that phrase (he calls you bro) but I think it may have been Hollywood! I still laugh when I see it in print. It's the truth tho. A lot of the puppies who convert to full fledged nut huggers see the source as their boy after a convo in which they were actually nice to them.
And I am NOT saying this source is good or bad with great aspirations or malicious intent. I'm simply stating the facts and the reason for what we do! The ONLY reason I posted in this thread is the ppl who are chattering and don't seem to get it. CnC may very well turn out to be a great source. He might not. Idk but he listened when asked to STOP acting as a source (for those who say he's been doing the same as the other in limbo yesterday. If you guys have orders with this source and want to talk gear. Go for it. He just can't interject.
That clears up a lot of questions... I never saw all that good stuff in the rules, maybe just a common knowledge thing around here we should all just know when we join idk. Everyone on here hasn't been here or active for years to know the ropes so questions will be asked. I'll accept being treated like a 5 year old tho for asking questions rather than being banned for doing something I'm unsure of. Thanks for clearing the air and happy friggin Monday...
