Well, this is it. My monthly TRT allowance from my doc, 1 ml of Pfizer Test Cyp 200 a month. I said, considering the half life if Cyp, what good is a once a month injection going to do me? He tried to tell me that this injection of test cyp would be in my system for 2.5 months. I've said it before and I'll say it again, docs just don't understand bro science.

WOW.!!! My Dr. has me on 1ml /200mg every other week which is way low!! So i added an extra 1000mg of cyp. per week + 750 Deca and 4iu's hgh per day. Problem fixed no more Low T.
This Doc is a quack! He probably tells his wife the same thing about his penis...."Honey it's 4 inches but that's all you need according to my medical degree".
Sounds like your doc is way old school. Is he over 60? That protocol is from the 70's. I'd expect a younger endo to give you sust or atleast cypionate once every 2 weeks.
I'd say, if he isn't 60 yet, he's real close.

This is a good point, I can save those for travel. I usually run Test E on cycle, will it matter if I switched between that and cyp in such a scenario?
RustyhookerOnly about 2 day difference in half life. Its like Pepsi or coke challenge. Both work great!

I guess I'm a lucky one that gets 10ml bottles. Doc prescribed Test Cyp.
Mine was through the government, I guess that explains it.
ClassyChassisIt's true that it takes 5 half-lives to clear, but it's steadily declining levels. After 1 half life you'd have 100mg remaining. After 2 half-lives you'd have 50mg remaining. After 3 half-lives you'd have 25mg remaining. After 4 half-lives you'd have 12.5mg remaining and finally, after 5 half-lives you'd be down to 6.25mg and be considered "clear".
He must think the half-life of Cyp is 15 days if he thinks 5 half-lives are 75 days. So according to his logic, you'd still have 50mg at the end of the month. Whoopty-freakin-doo. You're correct that he's an idiot. Just trying to explain his thinking.
I tried to explain that and he said the first drop is the only major one, the rest are much smaller drops.
ClassyChassisHa ha, that's because there's less and less to drop! Plus I don't think the half-life is 15 days either. If you're pinning the glute, it's probably closer to 10. So we're talking 25mg by the end of the month. All he knows is what he learned in school. He has no real world experience.

You got the wrong type of Doctor Bro. You need a hormone specialist, Endocrinologist, are the easiest is a HRT/TRT clinic. Your actually lucky you got that much Test from just a General Practitioner.

Lol! It's very sad how the medical field can be. Remember, all these doctors are just practicing medicine. I gaurantee you know way more than he does about how to properly and safely raise your test level.
That's exactly what my father always said. He'd say, "Doctors only have a license to PRACTICE medicine, and unfortunately the only people they can practice on is us".

Agreed. I told him my levels would be all over the place dosing it like that. Then he said it would be in my system for 5x the Half-Life length. It's sad that I felt I knew more about this than my doctor did.
Damn they won't allow us to pin ourselves where I live. That is almost the same dose they want me on. 1/2 ml of cyp a month. The nurse pulled up 1cc n I said hell yes lol. But then I was like f this I'm going on juice again n dose myself n cruise mode. I did get a 20ml bottle of 200 cyp for 10.00 out the deal.
Damn, that's pretty sweet deal. I'm a veteran, and this came through my local V.A. Hospital. 1ml costs me an $8.00 co-pay.
Damn that's expensive for 1 ml. I had 10.00 copay cost my insurance 187.00
