Advice on how to cut fat and gain muscle, I'm already pretty fit (and female)
Hi everyone,
I'm pretty new to the site and just need some advice. I'm an ex model and used to live on diet alone. I'm now 29 and a mature student. I run a lot (too much according to my trainer) and used to do no resistance at all. I surf and have for the past couple of years incorporated a lot of weight training into my regime with HIT as cardio (so no kore 20 km runs), is has helped greatly with upper body strength that's needed to surf.
I do find I eat more, I drink more beer than I should I admit that! Diet is usually protein pancakes in the morning, fish salads, quorn mince, salmon, that kind of thing.
I've just started on blue top generic HGH, 1.5 iu a day every day I don't have a break but I'm going for Hyges next once I can definitively work out a reliable uk source with good bloods (pm me if anyone knows!) what I wanted advice on is there anything else I can do? I'm currently 5ft 3 and about 55kg. I'm pretty muscley, a size UK 8 but I look solid, no chicken arms or anything like that- im in no way inferring i look like girls who are competition standard! I want to rip up best I can but I do have a pretty busy lifestyle so whilst I can get to the gym 4-5 times a week I can't go twice a day every day. Does anyone cycle anything else? If so what? What does it do, and what's the pros and cons? Advice is much appreciated.
Thanks!

I'm new, but I am in love with anavar. I'd like to try hgh so let me know how it works for you.
What's Anavar in essence and how have you found it's helped you? I love HGH, I sleep like the dead, I'm definitely stronger and my boyfriends started to call me a unit which I'm not keen on but if I'm stood there talking out of the shower he'll shout oh my god look at your abs or something. I'm definitely more muscular than I've ever been and it's still early days. I'm a size uk 8 still but I've gained weight which is hard to swallow at first but I'm a lot more solid than ever so safe to say so far so good!
AnonI would advise getting baseline bloodwork done.. so you can see your IGF levels as well as liver, thryoid etc before self medicating. their are links in the forum on how to schedule them for dirt cheap via privatemdlabs..
Can I use them in the UK though? Or do I need to find a lab here? Are my igf levels different to testing the amount of HGH? There seems to be some confusion as to whether I should test one or the other or both? Thanks for your help
AnonIGF will show if your HGH is real and if its doing the job
VIKING (mod) here will know if you can get testing done in the UK :/
My husband has me on anavar, t3 and cycling clen off and on for 2 weeks.
Anonplease don't advise others to do this as its actually quite poor advice.. not to be the asshole, but someone needs to be. I really hope you question what people tell you and take the time to get some bloodwork done.. easily doable for about $60 and an hour of your time.
Got blood test done and not advising anyone to do it. It was simply a statement of what I'm doing. So stop being an asshole.
Hi Minnie-Max, I've tried clen and t3 before and really didn't get on with clen, I was a million degrees and a total space cadet and I'm studying my masters at the minute, team that with an already bad memory as I'm an older student and its a bad combo. What does the anavar do? What are the side effects, pros, cons etc and things you've noticed? I'm using huge HGH now so can it be ran with that? Any help appreciated, many thanks
I'm actually studying for my PhD and haven't felt that side effect from clen that you have. I'd tried both pill and liquid. Maybe your dose is wrong? The anavar helps with Muscle gain/maintain. The only side effect I experienced is increased sex drive but my husband don't mind it. I've also noticed I lift a bit more while on it but that may be a placebo effect.
I must admit I've tried clen a few times and its been horrific every time. Maybe I'm just sensitive to it. Increase sex drive huh? Can't say my other half would disapprove too much either. I've found I'm lifting a lot more recently, I assume from the HGH but as you say could be a placebo effect. The thing is now I'm starting to feel a bit of a tank. I have a line going down the centre of my chest which is new, I'm quite proud of that, abs, which I usually only get when I'm a skeleton and very little body fat and I've got rather large quads. I feel like an out of shape wrestler. My skinny jeans would barely go over my thighs this morning. I want lean muscle and my diets relatively clean but I'm not leaning off at all. I'm building muscle but I'm getting bigger and bigger. Is there anything I can do to cut up more whether it be more cardio, a cycle of something or eat less, I'm trying to eat well not starve myself! It's frustrating!
My husband has been body building for years and can't stop talking about it. My understanding is that you don't lose weight with hgh or anavar. It sounds like you're not losing weight and just building muscles n ur just putting additional muscles under your original fat which will make you seem like you are getting bigger. Ive never taken hgh cauae it doesn't target anything in partocilar, it just makes everything grow and I've had previous medical conditions. R u eating enough proteins and cutting down carbs and sugar? Take your weight in lbs. then divide it by 2.2 to get your weight in kilograms. Multiply your weight in kilograms by 0.8 if you are sedentary, up to 1.8 if you exercise regularly, to get your daily protein needs. And eat frequently. I eat up to 6 times a day and my husband usually has 10-12 meals a day but they are small like a protein bar or egg white omelet. In terms of exercise, the best cardio to lose weight is intense interval running. There's a term for it but I forget. Essentially you run as fast as u could for a few minutes until your body can't take it anymore and then slow it down to a walk to catch your breath and keep doing that for half and hour or so. It keeps ur heart rate running long after you're done exercising which helps burn fat.
It's HIT training, high intensity training and yes I do that, my diet is usually protein pancakes so that's egg whites and protein powder for breakfast, smoked salmon salad for lunch and then chicken salad with sweet potato for dinner, I snack on carrots and if I'm honest fish fingers, I don't have sugar at all, I don't drink sugary drinks (except alcohol which I drink too much of) and if I want something sweet I have low fat yogurt. I have cheat days once a week where I have a high carb meal but really my diets pretty clean. Maybe it's cos I'm hitting 30.....?! Or my weights are too night if that's possible. I used to curl 7kg and now I curl 20 on each side and that increase is just from 3 months... Is that too much/not enough do you think? Thanks for all your help I really appreciate it, I may look into your cycle and try it for myself I've just been put off by clen...
you can read the top five stickied posts in the ladies lounge and they will be able to give you a lot of info ...
Your daily routine inspires me. I too am a complete foodie but hate to exercise. I want to know from you how can I make exercising interesting and fun so that I loose my weight without hating to do it. And yes I hate going to gym!!
I love rock climbing. It burns up to 545+ calories ascending an hour, and also burns calories during the belaying too. (this also goes for indoor gyms) its fun it builds balance and strength. and you forget that your getting a workout. I hate the gym when I have to go by myself. I like HIT but I have to have a trainer or a partner. I also like the insanity videos but they kill.
Hi David, do you like any sports at all? Surfing is a passion of mine, so I'll do the 3am starts and surf in the snow in the crappy UK climate because it hurts me not to! Where the gym in concerned if you hate it at the moment you won't be productive or keep things interesting plus you won't have the knowledge to do so. I have to say foremost that 80% of it is diet, you need to make conscious changes to your lifestyle. My diet is 80% healthy and then 20% the beer and treats sneak in... Which is too much hence why I still have a few pounds of fat. I don't eat white bread, rice, pasta etc, its all whole meal if I have it and sweet potatoes. Then regarding the gym I seriously suggest getting a personal trainer. Do your research get a good one, but you've got to want to do it, they will keep it interesting and then you can apply this knowledge when you go in by yourself as well but mainly I think everyone should play a sport, whether its tennis or surf or anything that grabs you. It's good for body and mind. I'll never be a champion at it but there's nothing that makes me happier in the world.
You've got to make the change though, you've got to want to... And embrace it and restructure your diet. I'm not saying you can't eat anything, I'm a bit naughty sometimes but you need to make changes.
I love my training now, I hate it when I'm weak and struggle but when you get stronger and you start pushing yourself it's an awesome feeling.
Good luck!
I put your stats into a bmr calculator.I put your activity factor at moderately active.Your daily intake should be about 2069 calories a day.If you are more active you will need more calories. Here is a link to the calculator I used. http://www.nbc.com/the-biggest-loser/social/cheryls-blog/ Btw,how is the joker doing?lol
Ha ha, we're doing comic con next year, since its a million degrees in the states at that time I've opted for Harley Quinn rather than wearing a full leather catsuit as most female super heros do and I'm not wearing the Wonder Woman outfit! I think my blokes going as superman though... Weird alliance going on there, mind you he will be fighting batman in the new movie..l with Ben Affleck? Odd times. Anyway enough geeking, I'm looking for info on anything what people are pinning to aid their training, mines sort of hit a plateau I'm pretty good with diet in the sense I know I should drink less beer and not eat that chocolate bar lol!
It seems most of the women here go for an anavar cycle.
