Rhodiola is an adaptogen so it helps to balance things out in your body that are out of whack for one reason or another. I take 500mg of NOW Rhodiola Rosea first thing each morning. It helps me focus when I do tedious work and overall increases my stress tolerance. You (or at least I did) notice a more pronounced effect when you first start taking it, but then it tapers off a little bit.

If you take it too late in the day it can lead to insomnia. I used to take 500mg twice daily, but I cut back to once. I've read some reports that people think it lowers their alcohol tolerance, I can't say for sure about that one. Some people use it for ED, also I've never noticed it changing anything in that area. I think how it affects people depends on a person-to-person basis being that it's an adaptogen and each person has their own specifics imbalances that it might help to correct.

Overall though I would recommend trying it out. I've been taking it for years and I do notice a difference if I forget to buy more in time and am out of it for a few days. Just don't overpay for it because I've seen it at some stores like Whole Foods for an absurd amount. The NOW brand is $10 for a 2 month supply if you dose 1 per day, 1 month if you dose it twice.

I've used it and for me it did seem to help. Did seem to elevate mood. Thought process throughout the day was more positive. It took about 3-5 days to feel it work.

Hello, im just starting to look in to this, the standardisation I've come across is 3%, can I ask how many mg you are taking daily please?

I have. I didn't really notice a difference. I actually didn't like it at all. It just felt like I was taking dry/crushed tea. At least that's how it tasted to me. But I did notice a difference when it came to staying awake
