My doctor has a nutritionist on staff who employs a somewhat similar program which includes hcg along with low calorie, high protein diet, exercise, weekly MD evaluations and b12/MICC injections. Typically they run for about 6-10 weeks and conclude with a metabolic resting rate evaluation to determine caloric needs for maintenance. They have had great success and clients seem to change eating habits at the conclusion of the program, opting to leave out high fat, processed foods.
