+ 1 2 Weeks Into My Cut

8 to 11 Weeks out from 3 NPC competitions.
The Cut is going well, but as always, I NEED MORE SIZE!!!! LOL ;-P
Freakin' Tendons still won't let me handle any weight, so it's Pyramids, Drop Sets, Negative Accentuated..... Whatever I can do to get this body to grow, its just coming slowly! Always forward!

Lookin great bro keep up the good work!!! im trying the carb deficit diet now. drank oj last night so yeah today is th day!!! (that im starting) more like starve for energy diet but O well. gotta get shredded somehow...

Its really not that bad on the energy if you get some good carbs in early. I do natural oatmeal or muesli for breakfast with egg whites and whole eggs. I used Flax seed oil later in the day in Shakes for energy too. Nutrition is the way to lean out. You can run on a tread mill all freakin day and barely burn off 1 bad meal!!!!

You mention "grow" and "cut"... ??? im lost bro, you aint gonna grow while in comp prep.. forget size now and aim for condition bro.. this is the double edged sword of jumping into comps before you have reached the desired off-season size first... you need to get these comps away then go on a 12mth bulker before looking at competing again .. that way you will be happier in yourself and with your body... you've been ripped 3 times in the last 12mths... not given yourself any real bulking time imo.

No hate here brother just giving my honest opinion of what would have been more productive on the size aspect of things.... +3 as always Smile

I guess that's the problem, I prefer what I look like cut. I thought i did pretty good on the Lean Bulk. I put on 37 lbs while maintaining vascularity and a decent six pack with a flex.
What do you think about holding off on doing these as BodyBuilding comps and entering as Physique? I realize it will be against younger competitors 35+ division but I feel it may better fit my current size.

That my bro sounds to be the best proposition at this time... see the last comp I did 6wks ago I went for ultimate condition and got shredded,... not knowing until I turned up show day I was up against ex-mr britains and ex-universe winners, I could have done with hanging on to maybe 8/10lbs as it seemed the judges were looking for mass that day so I only pulled a sixth place slot... most folks said it should have been a third which I agree with but if only I had hung on to that extra poundage it would have been a different day.

The masters classes are bringing some monsters to the stages lately brother... be prepared to be up against guys that have been doing this for 30+ and know their game inside out..... its no easy ride like some think just because we are a little older lol...lol

Yea Bro, I've seen some of the Master's class guys in the NPC Mag and show videos I've seen, and they are way bigger than me. I can get the cut, but it takes serious time to add that kind of beef! I think I look good as far as size goes for a normal person, but not against a competitive BodyBuilder! LOL ;-P
