I went through mtgox a few day before this, put several hundred dollars of USD into BTC. Thank goodness i was quick about movin them along to my wallet. The gov't is steppin over some major boundaries. This, and the whole NSA thing. Jesus H!

My friend just got an account with mtgox last week. Now hes screwed. What are other options? And your other options where your funds are at is accessable?
There are other places you can use as an e-wallet - like blockchain, but if bit instant is being targeted, that's one of the major ways of getting US dollars exchanged into bitcoins.
