+ 11 4 days out from the Finals and the 5th day of a zero carb depletion
ad
This back pic was taken with my Iphone3 but the others from a 4 so they are to follow soon.
I'm currently holding 94,5 kilos and this is my 5th day of a carb depletion. I'm eating 8 solid protein meals a day and all credit is due to Walabokkie who is helping fine tune everything. Tomorrow I start my carb loading starting from 250g and will add 100 for everyday leading up to Sunday. So I will be bigger and drier by then so stay tune.

breakingfaceLooking great bro. My first thoughts were- " This guy carb depletes and looks like an action figure- I carb deplete and look like gumby".
+1- not just for your dedication to your own interests but your willingness to help us with ours.
nuknukwill be interested to see what you look like once the carbs pop you back out. +1
phil113kgThanks Nuk. But I'm caught between a rock and a hard place cause my friend/mentor suggest that I take a different approach to what was already planned. Plus he wants me to run the shit out of Lasix again and I have no idea why he puts so much faith into that particular diuretic. I value his opinion but the program I'm on now deserves a try no matter what the outcome may be. I believe that if I don't finish it but jump ship for his recommendations then I will never know for sure if the current plan will work or not. So far things are looking great and don't want to disrespect my friend. Trust me bro, I have balls to stand up for what I believe inn but in a delicate circumstance as this what is a person to do?
Brother you look great, absolutely no doubt about it. You have a very balanced physique that a lot of guys would kill to have, which serves you well competitively.
My honest opinion, the lasix is going to prevent you from bringing your overall best look. Loop diuretics never seem to pan out the way people envision, basically because they turn the kidneys into an indiscriminate faucet rather than the balanced filtering device that they are; and flush fluid without regard.
I am not a fan of diuretics at all, I feel like they mess with the quality of the carb up on the final week. With 1 gram carb attracting nearly 3 grams water, taking a loop diuretic to flush all water kind of nullifies the carb up. The carbs won't have much to work with to shuttle H2O intracellularly (since lasix is flushing it all) in the muscles, leaving a flat look instead of full look.
You owe to it yourself to stick to whatever the plan was to see if it produces what you want, but I honestly think you would bring a harder look with a milder diuretic our no diuretic and just fluid manipulation adjusted around the carb deplete / load of the final week. Best of luck to you brother and much respect for your accomplishments and staying in condition for such a stretch of time.
nuknukI so agree with this wny_muscle. Lasix is not a smart move, especially if you are all ready dialed in and ready, it will just suck the water out of you muscle and go flat.
phil113kgThanks for your input. I've made up my mind and ditched the idea of using a strong diuretic, Lasix, and stuck with the original plan. I hate the shit and the two times I did use it makes me recoil at the thought of even using it again. I honestly think my friend has no grasp on reality and I know he is not up to speed on today's approach.
AnonYou look great Phil!! We are rooting for u brother. When u hit the stage brother we r there in spirit!!!
phil113kgThanks everyone for your comments and support. I'm in the process of getting the carbs in while drying out further.

Your back looks incredible Phil! You hardly even have a waist. +1
All the credit goes to you mate. You are the one enduring it all. You are the one eating and training, doing every rep of every set. Pushing on during cardio when it would be so much easier to stop. Now its time to sit back carb up and fill out and dry out. Good wrok big guy.
