+ 4 Count down till the demi finale France IFBB 13th of April
This week's prep is different from last week's. Diet has been changed, water/sodium is being loaded and later depleted, workout sessions has been increased to two sessions per day, and the aldactone has been increaed. I will take a pic of this pose everyday till sat so you can see how the "dry run" is working.
So the "dry run" is broken down like this;
Yesterday I increased my water intake by 2 and added salt to everything I ate. This will signal the body to release fluids.
Today I am increasing the water intake by another liter and cutting back half of the salt intake. This will further increase the fluid loss.
Tomorrow I will keep water intake the same but remove salt all togther.
New pic taken today around the same time Thursday the 4th. I posted my current 7 day diet and following it to the "T". Things that have changed is, low sodium water intake has been increase by the factor of two, against the advice of my coach I will not be using Lasix and instead I increased my AI to 2mg, proviron has been increased by 50mg, aldactone is still at 75mg X 3 a day. No salts at all and I am drinking glutamin/BCAAs in between meals to keep amino acids flowing. I feel fuller and dry without being flat.
04-05-2013 As you may or may not know I will not be doing the Top de Colmar which I explained in a post I posted in the Off Topic section. But the diet continues and I will follow through as if nothing has changed. I posted two pics, double biceps and leg shot, to show how the diet and process is coming along.
Sat the 6th which was suppose to be my second comp but was cancelled as mentioned earlier. Prep continued regardless as if I was to step on stage today. Here are three pics taken this morning. Upper half is tight as guitar strings but legs are still lacking behind. I think one more go around with the seven day diet plan will push me further down the line. My goal is to get deeper lines in the quads.
The last three pics of the legs, taken on the 7th of April, shows some progress on the legs. Forget the upper body cause the lower is my main concern. I know my upper is good to go but I'm slow going on the leg department. So as you can see the separations and lines are a little deeper. Hams are easily visible but still the gluts are trailing behind.
Leg pics taken today tuesday the 9 four days out in orange briefs.

el super beastoLooking good PHIL113kG keep us posted.
I'm very interested to see how the sodium load and depletion works for you . It seems like it would be tough to hit the mark but will expel everything if you do
Looking great as always ;) +1
AnonHow much salt?
Im takin notes lol
phil113kgGood question Monstar. I guess I'm not far advance cause I don't measure out the salt. I just add it to my food and go with that. The main purpose is to create an environment that will cause the body to take on and expel as much water as possible. Then later the pendulum is shifted the other way and while I carb load then the water that is remaining will be shoved into the muscles for fullness. I'm no scientist so I can't really explain everything in words. I've used this method many times and it always worked.
i might have a pm for you brother, been doing my research on the sodium thing and am gna do a mock run later this summer so i can go through it so i know exactly how my body reacts when my show closer.
phil113kgGreat idea bud. Now that's what I'm talking about. Practice it and know for sure how to do it before it really counts.
Beast as usual bro. Looking great! +1
breakingface@ phil- what is the benefit of 2x a day workout at this point in prep?
phil113kgIt's to basically burn more stored up calories and get the skin even tighter while flushing out as much lactic acid as possible. Plus it helps shuttle more nutrients into the muscles.
