Wow...big difference from other pics you've post ;) +1
thanks! =)
Hey what's your diet?
check my reply to levelup sir! =)
I see in your profile you are a nutritional consultant... Wondering what your diet is looking like and what your goals are?
Oh and as for my goals... I'm currently trying to build up my strength and hopefully get a nice physique along the side. I currently weigh about 67.5kgs or 155lbs. I'm trying to hit 170 pounds pure muscle then progress from there if I see it necessary. I don't want to make myself look shorter because i'm 5'6"-5'7" so I don't want to be too bulky for my height.
i hate to be the one to say this but the all clean natural diet will not allow a 20lb gain in a matter of months, It would take years!
You need to learn to love red and lean meats, simply and complex carbs and moderate to high amounts of fat. I just did what you want to do fpr your self; I am at 180lbs all while staying under 10% bF, I did it with 5000+calories per day, I ate everything under the sun and you will have to do the same too!
i find it interesting you are worried about what artificial sweetners in protein powders do to the body but your willing to use steroids , that doesn't make much sense at all!
Well steroids are at least in someway naturally recognizable to the body, as artificial sweeteners are not. One has several benefits, the other has only negatives. Abuse is the problem! I eat plenty of meats! Organ meats have more benefits than red or lean meats because thats where the vitamins are concentrated. I also eat meat on bone, for the collagen. I recommend reading the book Deep Nutrition, it truly is one of the best nutrition books I have read, and a way easier read than Nutrition and Physical Degeneration by Weston A. Price. I also eat plenty of complex carbs, no simple carbs for me! I'd rather not have the insulin spike. I eat black beans, lentils, quinoa, chia seeds, kidney beans, and whatever other great rice substitute there is. I try to sprout the beans/legumes before consumption to avoid eating too much phytic acid, which will act as a glue and diminish mineral absorption. I'm constantly trying to improve my diet, and I will see if I could reach my target weight one step at a time. Theres no need to rush imo. I'm just getting started! With my new strength routine, I think I'll put on some good size =)
Well man it seems you're set in your ways... I've eaten both ways and can say that I've gotten more results in the past three weeks eating calorie dense food, even food that is considered junk, than I have in months of eating clean. I also don't know what ur logic is about not wanting an insulin spike. There is nothing more anabolic than a well timed insulin spike ...pwo it will cause nutrients to be shuttled into your muscle cells for a faster recovery which promotes growth. I wish you luck on your goals but imo you need to reevaluate your diet
X2 seems to know everything already ; really wanted to help out a bit with this diet and plan but doesn't seem to give shit bout hearing it; lots of others do want to
so ill go let them know instead!
Best luck to your progress !
nah man, I didn't mean to come off that way. but Isn't all that i'm missing is the caloric intake? I mean, can't i get my extra calories from the organ meats, and complex carbs? Do I NEED simple carbs?
Some fresh fruits could add to your higher glycemic carb count! That's natural and nutrient dense!
I think all the (!) made it look like that; its all
Good my man!
and basically yes you could get them that way. Eat as much as you can of the complex carbs and the types of meats you enjoy; I believe you can gain but the natural diet will make getting the high calories 4-6000 per day needed to bulk; that many calories IS HARD to get in daily even eating cakes and ice creams so I can only imagine tryin to do it all naturals and organic type foods; I think it makes it much harder!
Best of luck though!
Keep us posted !
I have never counted calories before, but I might just have to start! It seems like thats the best way to grow at any given rate! Well I'll definitely keep you guys posted, I just hit some personal records recently on benching 253lbs x3. Going to aim for more next week, should be no problem =]
So in terms of strength building, will the occasional insulin spike increase my power?? thanks bro, I had no idea about that!
insulin spike after workout is going to increase your recovery and growth by shuttling nutrients to your muscle cells for repair when they need it most, pwo. if you read about it insulin is one of the most anabolic substances your body can use. recovery and growth from it will increase power and strength. here is how i would do it pwo...10g bcaas and 5g glutamine as soon as you finish working out. 30 mins later drink a shake that is 2:1 carbs to protein, so 50g whey and 100 g carbs, you can use karbolyn, glyco maize, or just dextrose depending on what you can get your hands on. by waiting the 30 mins you are taking advantage of your natural gh release from working out which is going to promote even more muscle growth
Well when I get back to my comp ill check the link but it sounds like your are into really healthy natural eating ... Judging on your body type that type of gain might not b possible without adding in foods with a dense caloric content
Yeah, trying to fix the damage that was done in all the previous years of life haha well I'd love to hear what you got to say!
Sent a fr since I could t bookmark your thread...if u hav t hear back by to tonight pm me and remind me...working thru some wicked insomnia and I'm a bit forgetful atm
alright forsure brotha!

I try to stay close to this, I also eat plenty of brewer's yeast for protein and b-vitamins, chlorella for heavy metal detox and a supercharged nutriton boost, and spirulina for the same. I take apple cider vinegar daily along with at least 7 grams of ascorbic acid daily for immunity and a balanced ph, my ph is around 7.25 last time i checked via saliva test strip. I drink homemade kefir daily for the 32+ probiotic strains available, unlike commercial yogurt which typically only supplies 3 strains and is loaded with sugar or neurotoxic artificial sweeteners. Oh yeah, and I stopped taking protein powders like ON Whey Protein Isolate because of the same reason, too much BS like artificial sweeteners which is an excitotoxin and kills braincells. I'd rather use a natural undenatured protein powder, but for now it's a little pricey so I'd rather just stick with the brewer's yeast, chlorella, etc etc due to their naturally high protein content and its pretty cheap here in China. Like for half a kilo of Brewer's yeast its only 2 bucks, and each tablespoon provides 8 grams of complete protein, undamaged by heat and not in its freeform like those in ON protein powders.
it should look like this, ^those above are not gonna allow for rapid growth, the calories aren't there in enough quantity!
Beef, pasta, rice, beans, milk, chicken, fish, oats, cereals, bakery items, HEAVY CALORIE DENSE FOODs!
Are you trying to gain? For some reason the link isn't working ... Might be bc I'm on my phone
