+ 7 A dropped snatch
ad
Rep weight of 160lbs. I was being sure I got good depth. I leaned back a bit in the bottom, which irritated my bad should, so I tipped forward a bit to compensate. With the front lean my hand slipped off all together from the sweat. I definitely have to find my chalk now, lol.
Kept training though. Finished snatch, went onto power clean, then wide shrugs, and closed with an ab routine. I finished up about 1.5 hours after the accident.

Anon.
Damn bro. Looks serious. Gotta love them staples!!!
Least you finished your workout!!!
safetyfirst21Can't make excuses to leave early.
ouch, man that look like it hurt bad. My Gym has ban chalk. I got these mechanic gloves called grip-it. All rubber palm, very cool. I do like chalk better though. Stay safe.
safetyfirst21Will do. Mine says no to chalk also. I changed from one to gym to another, same company though, and an employee who always gave me shit about not being allowed to do heavy deadlifts has apparently transferred and still gives me shit about the two. I still use chalk though, especially on my deadlift days, fuck 'em. lol
RustyhookerThat which does not kill you only makes you stronger.
Ouch!!!
SwonkyOUCHIE Bro. +1 For a fast recovery!

safetyfirst21No one special. An old guy, skinny guy, and two heavy ladies. I jumped up quick, I was pissed.
AnonLol! So long as ur ok bro hehe
Awww... hope it wasn't too painful. Hope it heals quickly ;) +1
How much weight did u have on the bar? Sorry to hear man. Wish you a fast recovery
safetyfirst21Not much it was rep weight, 160lbs. I haven't been able to find my chalk since I moved a little while back, I thought I would be ok.
OUCH That's worth another +1 but don't make it a habit! ;-)
safetyfirst21lol, they were in my bag
bet that sucker bled..
hope you feel better !
safetyfirst21Yeah, I couldn't tell at first from all my sweat. I made sure to wipe my fingers on log for the day as a reminder.
Nice - a blood smeared log book. Bad ass!
angus(In my best drill sergeant voice)For fucks sake, put a tampon on that cut and get back in the gym before you grow a vagina.
LMAO
safetyfirst21lol, I stayed another hour and a half. That was my first working set of the night. I couldn't stop before I began.
Always remember bro... Safetyfirst. Lol
safetyfirst21Yep, then teamwork.
Damm bro did you put them in at home thinking they were going to test you for AAS !! L.O.L !!
safetyfirst21lol, the nurse was complaining about being tired. Needing a sugar or caffeine pick up. I didn't realize how they were placed 'til I took the pic.
I debated doing it myself at home. Her job wasn't worth $250. I've done stitches myself on a fight wound to the forearm. 6 stitches in my kitchen. Todays nurse said it looked professional, but her job actually is so...eh
Too funny !
bbondsWholly shit bro thats a narly gash, hope you feel better.
breakingfaceHead injuries can produce a ton of bleeding. Years ago I was doing jumping jacks in my basement and accidentally jumped into a lower part of the ceiling corner. Split my scalp about 3 inches across. No one was home, my car was in the shop, and I didnt have the money to pay for an ambulance. Put a towel in my helmet, stuck it on my head, hopped on my sport bike, and road to the hospital.
safetyfirst21Yeah man they suck. I ran my head into an AC unit once, I don't think I ever bled so much.
bbondsWow thats crazy glad you had that bike to get ya to the hospital, injuries to the head are no joke,
split my forhead open once thought i was going to bleed to death there was so much blood
and my gash was only an inch long.
safetyfirst21Couldn't figure out how to not list a source. I'm in PCT, so I just put who I got my SERMS from.
