Intense/Painful Muscle Pumps (arms)

ad

Going on week 15 of a 20 week cycle of Test E and EQ 600mg each per week. Last few weeks I've been getting crazy pumps in my biceps and triceps but mainly biceps. Was doing a split routine of back/bis, chest/tris etc. I switched it up to chest/bis, shoulders/tris, back/calves etc. to see if it helped but my bis after say a few sets of preacher curls are on fire and pumped almost to the point of cramping. By the time I get to another exercise I feel as though they are already exhausted and not getting a full work out. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated boys.....and girrrrls of course Smile

I usually do super sets of 3 exercises and my arms get so pumped they feel like there gonna pop. I just put them above my head for like 20 sec give em a shake and I'm ready to roll

Are you taking in enough potassium and water?
How have your gains been thus far?

I'll admit I was lagging on water and potassium for a bit but I just really started hitting both water and potassium harder the past couple weeks since this came about. Im at a gallon of water a day now and eating 3-4 bananas whether in my protein shakes or straight. Gains were slow but steady for the first 10 weeks or so but once I hit week 12 vascularity went way up along with strength. I hit a rough patch for about 5 weeks with some personal issues where I was gonna drop the cycle and go into PCT and start again when I was in a better place but I pushed through for the most part and trying to finish it as strong as possible.

best hing for that bro is coconut water has like 4 bananas worth of potassium per 5ooml

I drink it everday its fine your over doing its effects

Haha....Im sure he's not quite advising me to drink gallons of coconut water a day but rather to incorporate it into my diet properly. And if that is the case, so be it. I've had issues since the day I was born on the shitter....sorry if that was TMI. LOL

Haha...I'll put myself on blast I guess. I have 2 cases sitting in my closet that I've been neglecting to drink AND I knew that. Wow....talk about a brain fart. Looks like I'll be gettting into them today now that you shook the cobwebs in my brain around a bit. LOL

most people love the bi pump your going to have to suck it up to be honest just a part of growing

litlitalian's picture

I'm good with it actually....I do like it. I guess the better question would be should I just continue on to other arm exercises at lower weights and intensity and/or throw let's say some abs in between arm exercises to allow the pump to die down?

jpal's picture

i would continue your arms are all pumped up and tats when they will grow so keep pushing through it
