I just think it's kinda bullshit that Big D Pharma is back on the ratings board. Now, i know i made a joke about wondering how soon he'd be back 'cause I like checking his reviews as if they had any impact on whether I would actually get my gear or not... but now that he's back I'm a little disappointed with eroids...
BFG stated clearly that he would be banned from reviews until he fixed all the unresolved orders. What constitutes "fixed"?
I'm just saying, if I had the power to ban someone until they fixed their shit I would mean it more literally! I would want everyone with an unresolved issue (that they could PROVE!) to PM me with details and then I would WAIT until I received PM's stating that the issue had been resolved before allowing ANY SOURCE (not just D) back on the boards! Letting the source back just because he SAYS he'll fix it is B.S. to me. Big D has been saying he'd fix this all along; so why is it somehow different this time? Sure, he says he's a man of his word... but the same motto applies when people are in disagreement, "they're just words on a screen".
I also have an issue with Big D Pharma going right back to where he was on the rankings. I figured he'd have to earn his spot back at the top.
I'm not saying that he is about to go the way of napsgear... but if he were- then eroids putting him back up top would be enabling him to make even more money by way of good exposure before finally ripping us all off!
Any source that has been pulled from ranking should have to earn their way back to the top. Not just Big D. EVERYONE!
I'm not a MOD or any other affiliation with eroids other than being a member; so this is just my opinion. I don't have crazy high karma but i've NEVER lost karma points for any reason and I've been a member as long or longer than some of the highest karma members here. I get on nearly everyday and I read or send PM's. But that doesn't mean that I don't have a valid point to make, just like many others on here with low or even negative karma.
I don't expect people to agree with what I've said (*waits for IRISH to start bashing me... and what the hell happened to cdaddy?) but that doesn't change the fact that someone needed to say it...

Anonthere seems to be a lot of people more interested in kissing D's ass than looking at the big picture here.
for the hundredth time, this SAME THING happened with napsgear and everyone who complained was flamed for it all day long until finally naps went under with everyone's money!
since naps stayed near a top spot MORE AND MORE people went to naps for gear and were ripped off!
if naps would have had to start over and earn his way back to the top and PROVE he'd taken care of orders then FAR LESS people would have lost money!
i'm not saying D is going to do what naps did, but if there's no recourse for sources that have been placed on temp status then he certainly COULD do like naps! and if it isn't big D then GUARANTEED it will be some other source!

Big D has been great. 9 orders and everything was just as ordered. I had one problem asked him to help in his PM and boom he took care of it. What he does for the people trying to build a great body is supply something that take risk. No matter how many people he takes care of there will always one that can only say bad things.Sad that some think that this is GNC if you wont to get it now and take it up the a?? then just go there purchase a product that does little to nothing but take your money. Just saying that thing happen but he has always worked with me. I just send a PM and the next day he is all over it..9 orders not one not two. Thanks to Big D and sorry that you had a issue with him. Just talk to the guy give him the time to make things right and you will be glad you did on the first PIN.....

Anonbeing placed on hiatus doesn't negate the past performance of a source. New scores and rankings are based on voting and if the unhappy folks don't vote then the score doesn't change. To manipulate the scores in such a way as to take all of them from Big D is just as bad as sending an army of trolls to upvote/downvote a source, and that is not what this site is about. This site is for YOU the consumer to review and VOTE (which results in a ranking) for your sources. If you got an F in science for the school semester, should we erase all your History, Math,English grades and make them zeros or F's?

but in the end what's fair to the supplier isn't as important as what's fair to the customer.
what's fair to the customer is to make suppliers earn their spot again if they've screwed up.
why?
because, the supplier isn't the one who is out their HARD EARNED CASH!
when you're "fair" to the source it's the customer who loses.
if the supplier were paying the customer then i might agree with you. until that happens...
Anonthe ratings are left up to the customers. if the customers don't down the ratings then there isn't a whole lot to do but post up a warning, and if people continue to purchase then it is on them. should admin step in to manipulate votes it takes away from what the site is supposed to be, customer driven!!! If people are blind and don't read what others are writing it is on them. There were LOTS of poor reviews on big d's page. I don't know about you but I do homework when ordering from a source and even then it can all go south fairly quickly.
Anonyou're absolutely right on doing your research and i definitely do mine. unfortunately, many people don't take the time to search through pages looking for the bad reviews. they see the first page, maybe even just the top 5 or so, and they base their decision on that. granted, they SHOULD be more diligent than that, but it's not likely they will be. i don't want to take personal responsibility out of the equation but i do want to add a level of site responsibility. it's a perfectly reasonable request that takes only minutes to implement but it would add that extra level of security to the process.
it sucks that people aren't always as vigilant about their affairs, but that doesn't mean that the system in place to enable those affairs should be complacent about allowing others to take advantage of it.
Anonthis site ISNT responsible for suppliers or even for calling scams... this is a REVIEW site .. reviews by the consumer for the consumer. .. the site maintains standards of compliance for the sources to be listed here for consumer safety that's it. . 90% of them don't even have active reps here and they don't have to. Would this be different if D wasn't so popular? Sure would. You can never minimize personal responsibility here. we are going to have to disagree, I don't hold eroids responsible at all for maintaining my safety and whether or not I get scammed.
Anonyou say that but that's obviously not the case when BFG steps up and does something about the issue at hand. it implies that BFG DOES feel that eroids has a responsibility to help protect members from sources who may or may not be trying to scam them.
that said, if BFG is going to take steps against bad sources then i think there should be some serious thought on how to best protect eroids members. my post here was just a suggestion towards that end.
and to say that things would be different for "less popular" sources just looks really bad...
BFG has done a world of good for us the steroid buy. If it wasn't for him we would pay way more for gear. We wouldn't have near the chance to get quality gear and a bunch of us including my self would be screwing their bodies up because of ignorance. BFG should not be second guessed he should be thanked. You expect way to much. If you think BFG hasn't had serious thought on how to protect eroids members you are insane. Most of us put a lot of time to help people on this site. All the MOD past and present do everything they can to protect us. Do they miss things? Sure they do. If they didn't miss things you would have been banned a long time ago. We will never be 100% protected but I sure as hell feel better about buying from a source I can research then a guy at the gym.

Big D did earn his spot! This isn't the first time he has had issues and it's it the first time that he gets his ass to work on fixing it! Sometimes it's a personal issue. Sometimes maybe the website, could be anything to cause issues. He's human! He fucks up too. He drops the ball sometimes as do most sources. But he always, ALWAYS gets back in here and fixes shit! If you had been around a while you'd know that. It definitely sucks for the ppl with outstanding orders. I know how ppl hate to wait and usually don't plan out their cycles accordingly (getting everything I advance) which makes them antsy to get their shit! I used to order from D all the time. Once I got a pack in 2 days another time it took 3 weeks. Guess what ,I still ordered after that. He's a stand up guy and although this game is about butter, lucci, dinero, I believe he wants to take care of his customers. You have a right to vent but to say he didn't earn his spot! That's bullshit!

You think you can stop people from getting ripped off? Hell no! It will happen over and over until end of time. Its the way it is. Eroids does a hell of a job to do everything it can to protect members(including sources). The system they have is working. The things that screw up the system can not be prevented without the site going private with ID required. I dont know about you but I am not showing my id to get in to this site.
I really think your thought process is a little off or maybe your just young. I dont know. You can not buy AAS from anyone and know 100% your going to get your gear. Its a risk. A very big risk. If I was you I would be worried about protein dealers anyway.
You make some great points Nitti. I honestly don't think it's possible to have a completely fail-proof system given the nature of this business. I've seen some rather large labs have the exact same problems we all face as suppliers. I remember last year when there was a huge seizure of one of the raw ingredients used in Anavar, and it affected Lixus (and the rest of the planet) in a very profound way. No supplier can assure that every other element of the chain is going to function as it should. These logistical problems are just part of the territory.
Now if my pizza is 3 weeks late, then we have a problem...:)

sure there are always going to be ways around this, but if the ways around were much more difficult they would happen far less often.
