How to hide being on the gear with your parents? or just tell em?
Alright so I am 21 and my parents are kinda crazy... my mom found the syringes and it was either tell her im shooting heroin or the safer truth, so she now knows which is absolutely horrible. Everyday I get a fun fact that she digged up online... she has no real knowledge but if she hears something is wrong or is bad she will blame everything on it.. anyway so its hell with hearing all her stupid opinions daily on it but I can deal..
Now I live with my dad on the other hand, when I was about 16 I got caught taking protein powder and creatine powder, yayaya I know its protein and creatine.. Anyway I got told how bad this is, hes going to do research make sure i can take this, he took all my shit and told me to wait till im 18 and know what im taking lol... Anyway since then protein is cool he doesnt care.. creatine is still evil in his eyes... My dad overreacts goes crazy over things like this and I dono how itd be once I told him.. anyway he said im becoming a gorilla and hopes im not using steroids... should I just tell em or keep hiding it.. anyone else have to deal with crazy ass parents before? should I just tell em or what..

Convince your dad to go to the doc and have his levels tested. Maybe you'll get lucky and he goes on trt. Then if he finds out he'd be kind of a hypocrite to say anything.
I don't tell anyone I'm on the juice. I got a package that came to my door while I wasn't home... And my sister visiting on vacation signed for it and when I got home she's like "your steroids came in the mail" Lmao! I was like "sweet!" In a jokingly manner. I wouldn't tell them till they find out. Hopefully when they do they will understand. I had to tell my ex and she flipped the fuck out! And left so keep your mouth shut is the best way to do it
hey matty, i had the same problem as you when i was younger, i admitted taking steroids to my parents they cried i told them i would never take it again..then they started raiding my room every time i started to put on weight lmfao... if i was you dont tell them anything, hide your stuff good where they can't find it,, dishonesty here bro is better.. Now days im 27 got my own apt, they know i juice and they accept it but, we prefer not to talk about it,,
had this problem with my (now EX) girlfriend. she would everyday be like i dont want u using that just do it natural. and was always concerned about bs "roid rage." i told her it was my body and i will do as i choose. well obviously that didnt go over so well and she packed her shit up but w.e thats another story. you should just keep it to yourself. your 21 just hide it like you hid your pot in high school!

yeah my parents are the same way. if they find out while im on, im dead meat. my parents thought that i needed an intervention when i started protein and creatine supplements. they would have my uncles who are physicians tell me i could damage my body and all that bullshit.
This is more serious of topic than it appears. I'd say 99% of us are hiding it from someone, be it a wife, girlfriend, or roommate. I go through all kinds of creative measures to hide mine.
Interestingly, the one thing I cannot hide is the acne. I'm very careful taking off my shirt in the locker room. Experienced guys in the gym-- if they were to see my back and chest, would recognize that the acne is steroid induced. I'm also leery of taking my shirt off at the beach to show off my six pack because of the zits. Sucks :)!!
Considering we advocate the use of steroids for people over the age of 25 I think not. If you can't be honest with people you live with by this time you have got to wonder. Man (or er women) up and talk to your partner. If you live with your parents stop buying steroids and use the money to move out:)
Not a practical solution in my opinion. This type of sensational news travels like wildfire. Everyone has a best friend or confidant. Next thing you know, your GF's best friend will know, and then her husband or BF will know, and then that guy's best friend, and on and on and on.
It is not an issue of honesty imho, it is a question of rumor control. It is a question of risk management. The best way to control a rumor is to never allow one to start.
Besides, what if it is a relatively new GF? What if you end up breaking up with her in 6 months on bad terms? Can you imagine the damage she can do?

Good choice. My advice, if it's not clear by now ;), is to hide it from as many people and for as long as you can.
Use your scenario for example. Your Mom already knows. Of course immediate the consequence of her freaking out and naggng isn't pleasant. However, the long run consequences are worse. Sooner or later, your mom will let something slip to one of her best friends. "You know, I caught Matt with syringes and vials of steroids the other day..." Your Mom's best friend thereupon one day "slips" something to her son, who knows you. Next thing you know, her son has told 3 of his friends. Before you know it, 20+ people will know.
You got a point. I trust my wife and friends though. Depends on your situation and location. I think steroids have a bad press and only the idiots let us down. I think attitudes are slowly changing though ( at least here in the uk)
Yeah, the bad press and stigma is profound. We cannot change the world though. We can only modify our behavior to adapt to the world. If you make your living based on your reputation in a small circle or small industry, then getting smeared with something as sensational as "steroids" will make you the talk of the town.

They are trying to protect you because they love you. You're too young for steroids, & it's their house.

At your age you shouldn't be using steroids, however you are so it's my opinion you should always be honest with members of your family.

Same thing happened to me. What did you tell her? I'm taking steroids? Everyone was whispering in my house about it so I brought out my box of juice and said, "I would appreciate if we could get all your questions out of the way in one sitting. So ask me whatever you'd like but I've done my research and have made a decision." Conversation lasted about 45 minutes. Everything was good after that because they appreciated my knowledge and candor and respected my decision as an adult.

Tell them. You are an adult. My parents were and are a little different but I would of told them .They know I use them now. I'm sure they don't like it but I'm grown up and they have no say in what I do. Have them watch bigger stronger faster.you are kinda young to use gear . But if you let them control you like that at 21 they will be doing it forever
your gunna do what you wanna do. i think your too young for gear. at least wait til your 25. but with that being said..if your parents are that anti-supplement. then dont tell them. they might even turn you in from what it sounds like.
