it would be cool to have a way to post in a thread without bumping. it seems unnecessary to bump a thread up to the top just to thank someone for advice.

I'm a grown ass man. the priest implication is pretty prejudiced and hateful. I'm a Dakota fanning fan and having a unique avatar helps me stick out and be memorable, although i try to let my opinions do that as well.

i suppose that is a reasonable alternative. it seems useful to be able to say message received, lesson learned without potentially displacing a thread from someone who could use the attention of being on the front page.
