For those of you suffering from hair loss

ad

do you avoid the steroids linked to hair loss (mast/ test/ tren/ winny/ dbol etc) and stick with just mild compound like deca/ eq? the reason i ask is because i am on TRT and planning my first cycle. I am worried what a test only 400 -500mg a week would do to my hair. I am genetically screwed to have mpb. Part of me wants to keep my hair and run my TRT level test with about 400mg of deca for my first cycle. The other part of me wants to say screw it and shave the head and get huge with a nice test dbol cycle.Wanting to hear from other guys losing thier hair and how you run your cycle. or any advice on a deca 400mg a week with TRT tevel base on what kind o results to expect. i have taken propecia in the past which slowed the hairloss down but i refuse to ever use that again. killed libido amongst other things.

Yeah steroid usage make can cause hair loss. If anyone suffering from this problem. He/she must avoid using it.. you take a very good decision to stop using propecia medicine because you can't decide your own what to take to stop your hair loss.. Nevertheless many medicines are available in the market such as Minoxidil and Biotin.... But consult a good hair doctor or a dermatologist for this. You can also visit to http://www.akclinics.com/hair-loss/ to find a appropriate hair loss treatment of your problem..

I'm prone to mpb with a receding hair line in the peaks. What I do is use a lot of nizoral. I have run winny twice and havent noticed any change in the hairline. I also use saw palmetto (but forget to take it quite often). This is just me, I heard many people wright that winny is a killer but it didn't affect me even though I'm prone to hair loss.

Good luck though, hope you find a combo that works for you

I was going to recommend finasteride, but sounds like you are done with that. I have had fantastic response to it.
I upped the dose on cycle when I started getting BPH symptoms. It quickly and decisively worked. Terrific.
Test is okay for me bc of the miracle of finasteride. I completely am staying away from dbol, winny, tren, etc due to amplifying hairloss or BPH symptoms.
I've read Deca is mild on the hair, but have never tried it.
I've read that primo and var are easy on the hair, even tho they are DHT-based as well. I can verify no hair loss on var for me (while taking finasteride).
The irony is I hear mast and winny, also DHT based, are hair killers. There is some extra chemistry step about how these compounds are converted in the body needed to solve the mystery. I mean, why are var and primo gentle, but winny and mast harsh? All are DHT-based?
In any case, if a steroid in any way metabolizes or converts to DHT in the body, that may have impact on prostate or hair. Maybe the conversion rate is much higher with some of the DHT-based AAS as opposed to others (my bet).
Deca and tbol with the saw recommended are probably your best bet if you want to keep your flowing locks while on cycle.

great post, thank you. actually i just ordered finesteride. i am going to give it another go. when i was taking it before i had low t (300-400) i was also taking 1.25mg a day. now that i am on trt my test is around 1,000 and i think 1 mg of fin shouldn't kill my sexdrive like before. i have decided to go the test only 400mg for my first cycle with the fin. to help with the hairloss.

I think that is a very wise course of action. Keep it simple, and see how your body reacts! Good luck with the cycle and keep us posts. And keep the hair too!

I suppose any AAS that can convert into something that the receptors in a guy's hair and prostate would have the side effect.
Test is easy and well studied that an enzyme alters test to become DHT, and once it is DHT, the receptors on a man's scalp and prostate will respond to the increased DHT due to genetics and age.
Women's hairloss is very different. It is diffuse where the hairline doesn't change, but where hair gets thinner all over and falls out. I'm not sure what the mechanism is because I haven' studied it for women.
Like with any AAS, you just have to weigh the pros to the sides.

I need to be educated on this- so its proven that saw palmetto blocks dht conversion but it isn't proven that it prevents hair loss? Right? If I'm not prone to hair loss should I take finasteride or just saw palmetto?

Couple of Q's for you Tread, what dosage are you running on the saw palmetto?

And I've often wondered what the other effects of low test are when on a deca only cycle. On the many times I've asked people they always quote the same old thing "you can't take deca because you'll have no sex drive, end of conversation". But I honestly couldn't give a rats ass about sex drive, no importance to me at all.

So does that mean bring on the deca only cycles? I can't imagine it does. Surely there must be other problems from just running deca besides deca dick and sex drive?

Damn i'm still getting nothing new been trying different word combo's for two hours (been up since 5am :/), just the same kinda stuff that "deca only cycle sides" gets when I google it.

The only addition information i've found was some bro science about it causing depression. Some stating progesterone, others saying low test and some claiming an estrogen imbalance as the reason for depression.

Thank you sir

I feel like I should bow down to you and exit your temple atop a mountain-this is how I picture an eroids Guru, typing from an ancient candle lit temple atop a secluded mountain range.
