With respect, TGS, that's not quite true, everyone did NOT receive their gear. The troubles didn't begin in December -- In fact, the troubles started with those of us who ordered on November 29 or November 30 in order to take advantage of the sale. It's as if there was a decision made to collect all the funds possible through the end of November (the "sale"), and stop shipping orders as of December 1. Orders received after December 1 have just been collected while someone somewhere laughs their way to the bank.
I've done a pretty exhaustive search of the boards where Spartan Labs or their sycophants post regularly, and the variety of excuses for what has occurred is truly astounding -- Not to mention the number of nasty threats as to what will happen to customers who complain about this operation not meeting its commitments if they don't shut up and wait. Those threats are deleted quickly (board admins and mods don't want that sort of content on their sites), but should I encounter another I'll grab a screen shot.
Google around, folks -- This is going to be quite the story on the boards, and it is practically an engraved invitation to LE. This isn't my first rodeo, and it bears all the signs of many past ones.
The more posts I read about this whole mess the more I believe that something did indeed go very wrong, could be similar to what monk had come up with a few posts down. I Don't think we will ever really know, but I still think we will see our gear. Someday.
The fact that GS claimed to deliver with in 7-8 days really dramatizes what ever it is that is delaying their shipments. Most of us have been waiting just over two weeks and honestly, I have waited longer from much higher rated sources.
I believe that "The Rep" really is totally out of the loop with the shipping logistics, but I also feel he should of have been more involved with the shipments. He is the one presenting the products, and he should of stopped taking more orders when things really started to get out of hand.
So I'll give it a few more weeks until I start pissing down my leg, but for now I reordered from another source.
Not sure if he should be involved in logistics, rather, simply information! WTF is the big deal. they know our emails. Send us a freaking update. Kinda like your woman not showing up for slam fest and dosent evn bother to text.
We have had a bunch of customer (few pages back) receive there gear within the TA stated above. I have been told straight from the man that every will receive there orders. I don't know much merit this holds but all I can do is pass the word on to you.
I would love to be more involved with shipping but it's the nature of the business. I am kept in the dark on purpose. I was not alerted that anything had gone wrong. This took me by surprise as well. I am doing my best to make sure that I keep everyone as informed as I am the second I found anything out.
I really want to place another order but these recent reveiws got me thinking twice!!
Unfortunately, I placed a second one last week because I thought they had ironed out their issues. Great to see that is not the case. They are rank amateurs IMO.
Ordered on 11/31, picked up funds 12/4. ~300 dinero floated, in-state. No show thus far. PM'd and got the blanket statement posted by rep. AND, My very first order. Hope nobody else is thinking of ordering from these guys until, atleast, I get my gear. Its pretty obvious something happened internally. Hope it comes by Jan 1st. This was my New Years resolution ;(

Well, nothing in the mail today, no surprise. That's 15 days and counting -- I couldn't wait any longer and placed a duplicate order with a RELIABLE, although more expensive supplier.
I don't believe the hooey about problems in the mailing department either...those would have been resolved by now. My guess is the gear is being brewed overseas, a large shipment got seized, there's no inventory, and these clowns are running around in circles scared someone is going to find them -- but not so scared they don't still have their website up and accepting orders.

I wouldn't have such a case of the a** if whoever the clown in charge is would tell the truth about what happened to all of these missing orders (and there are a LOT of them), rather than stonewalling or lying, and tell the truth about whether and when he's going to resend, and what sort of extra gear the folks who have been waiting so long can expect to receive in recompense. And if the guy has any sense at all, he'll use delivery confirmation, if not tracking, at the very least: Hell, to salvage his reputation, he ought to send the packs overnight.
Short of that, "The Gear Squad's" name is dirt right now -- And as far as I'm concerned, Spartan Labs name is dirt as well - Because "The Gear Squad" IS Spartan Labs, just using a new name.
I know I am new to this forum but I ordered from gs on advise from a different forum. Only 9 days waiting, seems to be not looking good here but on the other forum spartan labs works the boards and seems to be taking the wrap saying took them long time to supply product... So who knows hopefully true

I hear ya brother. I ordered on nov 30, got the conformation on the 1st and nothing. I'm about to see if the guys on musclesci board are having the same issues. not looking good.
This is really starting to upset me I ordered Dec.1 and still nothing where is my package????? I ordered this believing it would be here in no less than 5 days, not this long!! will I ever receive my goods?? I chose this site do to its good reviews and seeing how I got scammed from a previous source!! This is crap and I'm pissed!!!! I don't like getting fucked around! They should throw in more gear if they still plan to send!! This is down right disturbing!!!!
Sorry to see you still haven't received your package. As you can see, there's a problem with all the orders from around the time you placed your, something in the shipping dept. I suspect they will throw extra gear in there but I can't confirm it.

As you all can see something is very wrong with the shipping side in our operation. I hate to play the blame game but I, unfortunately, am just as in the dark as you are. I am just a rep here (I realize this is not a valid excuse) and I have been in contact with the head daily voicing my concerns about whats going on here. To sum it up I get exactly what you guys are getting, "If the funds where collected your order will arrive". I have told them that people are VERY upset and that it is tarnishing our reputation here.
I want to rep a quality service, and that's what I signed up for. As far as I know, we are not a selective scam, or a scam at all. From what I can gather there is a problem with someone in the shipping dept.
If I can offer one thing it would be that I believe you will all eventually get your gear. We haven't had anyone be burned, only take forever to receive there package (still, not acceptable). I understand that this type of service and TA is unacceptable and fully encourage you to leave an accurate review.
I think the best course of action right now, is if you have an outstanding order, please request and send me a PM here, rather than the contact email. I will check for PM's ever hour including weekends and holidays.
I am just as frustrated with the situation here as you are. This is not the type of operation I wanted to be a part of, and if it isn't turned around soon I will be leaving. In the mean time I will try to help everyone as much as I can.
But yet there doesn't seem to be a problem with the "funds collecting" side.

This is what I meant earlier, folks -- The individual responding as "TheGearSquad" here on eRoids is a class act. I don't think I know him from the boards, but I do know the person who answers emails from their contact account from the boards (under a different handle of course), and that's part of why I'm confounded by this situation. I wouldn't have expected incompetence or rudeness from this person, and to see it unfold in this manner is, to say the least, surprising. The reason I was excited to order from these folks is that I know the expertise of the maker and the quality of the product -- I suppose I expected the order fulfillment system to reflect the same sort of excellence.
In any case, Props to "TheGearSquad" here on eRoids for his constant monitoring of the threads and his communications, even if there's nothing he can do to address this goat rope.
Thanks for your understanding and to address your surprise, I can say that I feel exactly the same way. Everything that I have ever heard or read on another board also spoke super highly of them. To see this happening and not be able to do anything about it frustrates the hell out of me.

Um, the [censored] doesn't help with spelling disaster, but I will say this -- The outfit did deliver one order of kick-ass Spartan Labs gear in eight days, so I figured they could handle another one of the almost exact same size. Call me naive (even thought I've been ordering online since CE's original UG Supplements board), but I still think the ball is in the air as to whether they just didn't send the second order and aren't willing to admit it (which is petty if you think about it -- Given what they are paying for the raws they could re-ship WITH some extra gear to make it right and still not lose any money), or if they are just selective scammers. We'll see. All I can tell for sure right now is that they don't care much about their reputation on this site.
I care about the reputation here, unfortunately I don't think the other parties involved care. The only good thing is they rely on me so I do have some leverage.
"They" are doing a good job of tarnishing their reputation. Not sure have many returning customer they will have even if things do pan out. Fluctuating shipping times are acceptable, but to be left out in the dark without an explanation is not.
Well, with Rock86's comment below (he seems to have ordered a day before I did), I think we can see a clearly established pattern emerging: The mailing operation isn't shipping product that has been paid for. I could list a paragraph or so of other words for it, but what we have here is a scammer. And a monkman who has completely lost his patience and sense of humor.
That shouldn't be allowed to stand. I'd suggest all of us who have paid for but not received gear (if you've been waiting more than 8 days as promised) reply to this post (all you have to do is is put the dollar value you spent, plus any fees), so we can get a running total of how much these scammers have stolen from this community alone...then go to the various BB boards we all frequent and post that total. I see no reason for the online bodybuilding community to continue to support this outfit until every single order is made right.
TheGearSquad has had every opportunity to explain here what the problem is: If there were a legit reason for orders not arriving after 13 days when they were supposedly shipped domestically, they'd have offered it by now. "I don't know what happened to your order, now piss off and leave me alone" isn't acceptable.

Ordered 11 days ago. Havent totally given up hope but for domestic, something is not adding up???
Spent $198.00 plus $13 extra for payment type. Have emailed and asked about eta / tracking and havent heard back.
There were a lot more questions asked of me vs other suppliers and that kinda freaked me out. Not sure why all the extra info was needed?
Wishing i would have waited a few more days and caught the bad reviews coming in. If it arrives and works i will leave good feedback on that, shipping at this point i cannot, as domestic anyways.

That's fourteen days now GearSquad -- And in my email this morning, the guy says "You'll get your order. I don't understand what your question is?"
My question, GearSquad, is why does a domestic source take 14 days to deliver an order when I receive them from China in 5 days on a regular basis? From Western Europe in 9 days on a regular basis? What is your mailing problem, when are you going to fix it, and why don't you start using delivery confirmation like every other legit source out there?
Every day, gentlemen. I'm going to post here EVERY DAY until something shows up, because you don't deserve a better rating or reputation until you lose the nasty attitude and deliver the products your customers order.
These are all questions that I have asked the uppers myself. I've been told we don't use confirmation for security reason (could be a cop out).
I encourage your posting here until your package arrives. I would be just as upset as you are and I am trying my best to make things right for everyone who has an outstanding order.
I ordered november 29th and fund were picked up next day. I don't mind waiting but 3 E mails later with no response gets old. I need some kind of reassurance that its coming haha. Heard domestic was faster but it doesn't seem like it.....
