Is arimidex the best AI to run while doing a test only cycle?

I was wondering if arimidex would be my best choice to run during my test only cycle. If it was what is the best dose take. I am going to get some 1mg pills and I see a lot of people say take .25 mg. Do you just take a knife and hack off 1/4 of a piece the best you can or is there a more efficient way of doing this? thanks a lot

Letrozole is 10-30x more effective than Arimidex in it's ability to pass through the cell membrane of lipid (fat) cells and inhibit the activity of aromatase -- in other words, Letrozole is far superior in lowering estrogen levels in fat cells. This has two benefits for researchers;
(1) Estrogen 'attracts' water, thus water retention occurs.
(2) A substantial percentage of aromatase is left untouched by Arimidex due to it's poor ability to enter lipid cells. Arimidex is approximately 80% effective at inhibiting aromatase, Letrozole is around 95-97% effective.

Ok that sounds great thanks for telling me. I will definitely have to look into both of those. Have you tried both ex and letro?
btw by ex he means exemestane, also known by the brand name "aromasin." letro = letrozole.
i'd try exemestane instead of a-dex, it's kinder on your cholesterol levels and there is no risk of estrogen rebound. letro is very strong and usually only used when a-dex or aromasin don't cut it.
Well you are right about it being my first cycle, I hope it was not too obvious haha. I like to consider myself a pretty informed person on most things, and I want to make sure I am on this too. The thing that I do not really understand is why a person would want to have adex on hand and wait until symptoms started showing. I would personally rather just take a moderate does and never have any symptoms arise. If the only issue would be spending extra money on adex I might not need that is no problem at all. I have never even heard of EX or letro but I will definitely look into that now. Thanks a lot for your help.
the point being brother, is that a large part of AAS is understanding your body and its reactions. Sure u could just run the adex, but by doing that you will not gain the benefits and experience of how ur body reacts to test on its own, you may not need adex AT ALL. Like i said,(IMO) there are definitely benefits to running adex during cycle but there are more benefits to understanding ur body

from the sound of it, this is ur first cycle, so "my suggestion" would be to keep Adex handy and "feel out" your sides and use AI if/when necesary. Now i'm not saying that an AI on cycle doesn't have it'e benefits but "I believe" you should get to know your body and recognize symptoms as they arise. if you begin to show symptoms start off with .5 e3d. if they persist .5 e2d. if they persist .5 ed. if they persist after that it probably means you are highly sensitive and should look into EX or Letro.
