female hair loss
Hi guys,
I was recently on a var only cycle, however, after about 10 days I stopped taking it because I wasnt convinced it was var. I noticed quite a lot of water weight and my hair was greasy and I couldnt wash it out. I stopped taking them and things went back to normal but now my hair is falling out in handfuls!!!
And it really is in handfuls! In about 3 days I would say I have lost about a third of my hair!! There is no pattern to it, it seems to be shedding all over. Has anyone else experienced this much hair loss with ?var? or anything else?
I have had hair loss with t3 before but nothing like this and it came back but im worried this may not stop and I will go bald!!!
I know about finasteride but im not keen due to sides. Being female seems worse, could grow hair where dont want it, loss of libido and reproductive problems! Just seems to risky.
Does anyone know what else may be useful? Also any opinions regarding whether this will stop before I go bald and if it is likely to be perminent.

PandoraThis post was here before I was born to roids. Just thought this might be worthy of mentioning as I have found a vitamin that really worked for me. I've not done any AAS (yet). I was loosing an unusually large amount of hair noticed in the shower! I know we can average 100 +/- hairs a day, but the amount covering my hands in the shower was scary to me. I felt like I was doing chemo! I almost made an endocrinologist appt, but did not. I tried to pin point what may have caused it, stress, diet, meds, hormones etc. Nothing came to mind. I started researching some vitamins for my hair. I have found success with a brand! Granted, I'm on my 4th bottle, 250 tabs, take 1 tab 3x day. Natures Bounty-Hair,Skin, Nails w/5000mcg biotin I was and still am impressed by the lack of hair in the shower and how much my hair has thickened back up, not to mention the health of it. BTW... I buy mine at Costco.
PS: sure hope I'm not breaking any of the rules with naming products here. My apologies if I am.

UPDATE: hey, I know it has been a while but I thought I would give an update in case any other females experience this and are looking for help. Well its def 100% growing back! I have all these little strands that stand up on end unless I stick them down! I was so happy when I first spotted them tho even if I do look like I have put my finger in the plug socket some days! lol lol So if this happens to anyone else there is a good chance it will grow back

UPDATE:
OK so the hair loss has stopped thank god! Think I have lost about half my hair in total but its from all over so no patches! Still waiting to see some signs of regrowth though.
I spoke to BS33 and told them about my trauma!! They were very apologetic and offered a re-ship of a different brand. I said no thanks and told them to keep the cash and get the shit lab tested because I have no intention of taking anything anabolic for a while! They said they will get it tested urgently.
They were also insistant they wanted to do something for me so they are shipping me some ephedrine (always good to have around I guess and I have a willing guinea pig on standby to test it out for me! lol) and I have just got a mail saying they have also thrown in some clomid and hcg. Not sure these will work the same for a female but its the thought that counts I guess! Any info on these for a female is welcome??
Anyway compaired to some sources reaction when you challenge them on the quality of their gear these guys have been nothing but sorry for their mistake! Not that it makes it ok what happened but at least they have not antagonised me and made the situation worse which is a refreshing change (not that I have a habit of needing to tell sourses they have dodgy gear but you hear some nightmares people have with some sources in similar situations).

If it is all over hairloss you just thinned out a bit so no big deal it will come back again for sure. At least they apologised it is something.
Ye its not gonna help my hair grow back but I do believe they are sorry. They have sent me 1000 ephedrine!! lol
AnonBiotin , folic acid supp. will grow your hair. Vit.sHop has the hair, skin and nails supp. as well. But the bio & folic are the best -for hair growth.:)

Was it the Lixus Var because I bought that from them for my wife a while back and she started them about 3-4 days ago.

Anonno it wasn't the var - just type in side effects under google it will list them. Even side effects it happens SOMEtimes.:)
I thought hayhay bought var from bs33 and it turned out to be something entirely different I wanted to clarify which var she bought. Im not sure what you mean? I know there are side effects but not those side effects for var which has been established.
I also bought var from them for my wife, if they are the same ones that where dodgy then I would like to know before her hair falls out.
It was BN var except it clearly wasn't var it was something else most likely dbol.

LOL well its been enough to put me off the gear for a while. Goes to show what can happen even when you think you are playing it safe!
Once I recover from the shock I will be contacting my source to see what they have to say for themselves!!! I sometimes feel bad for the sources coz they can get scammed the same as us but that is no excuse! I think they should be extra careful with the var because they know women take it! Good job I knew it wasnt right and stopped!
From my reading I think whatever I took somehow got converted into a shed load of DHT and thats what the greasy hair was. The DHT caused a change in the follicles and now all the hair that was effected is falling out. Im hoping that once its finished falling out it will start to grow back!! It seems to have slowed down now thank goodness!

AnonIf it has slowed down it is a very positive sign. Your folices propably suffocated from too much oil production. Once your scalp dries out a bit and your natural oils return to normal your hair should start growing. Can't blame you that it put you off, can't imagine injecting estrogen instead of test
Try not to overwash your hair and also not to let a lot of oil build up. Did you had any itching prior to the hairloss? Any odour from your scalp?

Sorry ive been away with work for a couple of days. Yeah it was itching for a bit after the greasy episode. The itching lasted about 5 days. Still a little itchy now but getting better. What does this mean? No odour and no other scalp problems.
AnonThe itching could mean that your scalp is producing oil. You say it was itchy after the episode or while your hair was greasy? If the itching was after the incident means that your scalp is recovering/breathing propably. If you didnt had any odour means you didnt pick up an infection which is good news. Very smart move to stop that thing you were taking, dont even want to think of the results if you were to continue taking it. Btw please name and shame the fcker that sold you the dbol\var.
Oh I really hope its not still producing oil! It doesnt seem to be at all greasy anymore so this is good. It was itching like crazy just after the greasy episode and still a little bit now. Im hoping the itch is new hair growth! Could be wishful thinking though! lol
Ok it was BS33 that sold me that shit. Ive emailed them to inform them of what has happened and I am waiting for a reply. I told them to take the conplaint seriously because although I dont use other anabolics I have used var 5 or 6 times now with no issues!! If im not happy with the response I will post my experience all over their review section!!
I know this is the game we play so im relatively accepting of the situation. I decided to swallow the things but I do need to try and protect others from this situation!

Noone should get away with selling fakes/alternatives esp to a woman!! Really hope he gives you an apology, if it was human error i can understand but if he knew what he was selling to you the dude is sick. Anyway hope you have much better luck in the future i will avoid BS33 at all costs just cause of this incident.

AnonI agree with the consensus here that you were taking Dbol.. I ve not had any experience like that with the var.. minimal water gains for me but nothing crazy that didn't go away after the first week while my system was adjusting to it. I'd blow up your source.. in a big way.. in fact you ought to say something in the source reviews to start..

AnonSounds like you were taking dbol? That's one oral to cause bloat and excess oil. I would say go to a doc and have your bloods done. Do you have any signs of high test? Don't you have any contraceptive pills to balance things out or something? Whatever the case your source needs a beating. If you have any b6 vitamins try 300mg for a few days, it is supposed to promote hormone balance.

AnonRelax you are propably on your way to recovery already. Good thing is you stopped taking it. Good call on getting on the pill as well, try not to stress cause it might disrupt the balance even more. Once your hormones balance out you will be back to normal. You women grow hair very fast anyway. Hope all goes well keep us updated.
