Serms and PCT when you still have test in your system

ad

I've seen a lot of different opinions on how long test levels stay elevated after a cycle of long esters, like Test E or C.

I've also been reading up on how a serm blocks estro from reaching the pituitary, fooling it into making more LH and FSH.

I am wondering how the scenario plays out when you add a serm too early, and still have elevated test levels.
Why would that keep the serm from working as intended?

What part of the body detects Test? is that also the hypothalamus?

Thanks for the answers guys. +1

I believe it is the hypothalamus. If I understand the HPTA correctly, the hypothalamus senses that there is low test so it signals the pituitary to produce LH and FSH which is a signal to the testicals to start producing testosterone.

What Makwa said
Also it's your hypothalamus that you need to fool otherwise it won't send GnRH signalling to the pituitary to produce LH and FSH.
A single 250mg shot of test enanthate has an MRT of 12-14 days according to the scientific medical community.
A 12wk cycle at 500mg p/w would mean that it wont be out of your system for about 5.1/2 weeks.

It all has to due with the negative feedback loop. Since your T is still elevated above normal, it doesn't matter how much SERM's you take, they are not going to trick your body into producing more test since your body senses it already has enough.
