+ 3 Carb Cycling is my favorite for results and mental health
I’m 34 about to hit 35 in 2.5 months = 11 weeks
Weigh: 185
Goal: To hit 190-192 gaining thickness while maintaining a somewhat lean look.
Overview: I’ve learned through my journey of bodybuilding different approaches on diet and honestly! HANDS DOWN! My favorite is carb cycling…overall my look, pumps, tightness and mental health through it all. Something about getting depleted for a couple days and throwing in extra low days because of how strong I’m feeling while not being to hungry but thennnnn when I finally throw in a high carb day! It’s the best workouts and the pumps are so unreal! Vascularity is just elite

⸻
Supplement Suggestions (Optional, synergistic with TRT)
• Creatine Monohydrate – 5g daily (no cycling needed)
• EAAs or BCAAs – intra-workout, especially on low-carb days
• L-Carnitine – May support fat metabolism
• Fish Oil – Hormone & heart health (especially on low-carb days)

Hey man! I don’t know if it’s a good idea to cut your carbs on training days, usually that’s something you do on rest days (the only exception being peak week during prep). Also I might be wrong, but I think you need a bit more calories to push 190+. Don’t be afraid of carbs, they’re just as important as protein, and sometimes even more.
As for training, in my opinion a bro split isn’t the best option. You’ve got 2x frequency only for back and just 1 rest day. Have you tried an UL or PPLxUL split?
Great looking plan, looks solid. I'm weighing in about 205 trying to gain about 10 lbs this off season. Current BF% is 10.1, and going to keep a low fat diet, and carb cycle. My plan is to do 180g on rest day, 300g on training days, and 500g carbs on my high day. Look forward to hearing about your progress, keep pushing!!
Solid plan, brother. Carb cycling is definitely a powerful tool. Personally, I keep fats low year-round … no real need to bump them for hormone support unless you’re natural. I like the old-school bodybuilding approach: high protein, mod-high carbs, low fat. Mark Bell/Cole Robinson push it hard … not gospel, but solid framework. Keep killing it. Btw thanks for sharing this !
