Research their binding affinity for certain estrogen receptors and you will get your answer. Clomid high affinity for the pituitary and nolva is the more powerful one that deactivates ERs all over the body with particular binding affinity towards breast tissue.
And please fill out your stats including BF %.

Its an everyone else is doing it so it must be right attitude, most ppl never question why.
I would imagine that even though they are both serms and are both members of the triphenyl family they do have slightly different MOA (mechanism of action) especially at a receptor level, where tamoxifen (nolva) acts as an antagonist and clomiphene (clomid) acts as an agonist and antagonist.
Wether there is any benefit to using both is open to debate as there are few (if any) studies done on using both in males.
But, if you could only use one of the two for a particular reason then clomid would be the better alternative because of it's agonist activity, this is mainly what tricks the body in to producing LH and FSH.
