Hey guys

New forum user.

I have been doing some deep thinking in my life lately about trying to help my body with science. Let me begin by telling you about myself.

I am 37 almost 38 very soon. 6'4 , 225 pounds. I have been very athletic my whole life and natural. I have done hockey, cycling, weight lifting and now currently have focussed on mma for the last 10 years. I eat very healthy and live clean aside from a little herb for pain once or twice a weekend.

I have gone through the passing of the torch phase in my athletics and enjoy training and competing with younger fighters/athletes. Somebody has to be their punching bag lol...

The circumstances that have brought me to this place are psychological and physical. I suffer from really bad depression and have tried many other types of medicines that didn't work or have bad side effects. The only thing that allows me to be healthy and happy are intense workouts or competitive sports.

The problem is that I am ageing and recovery is really starting to fall off for me. What used to take 12 to 24 hours to recover from now takes 4 to 6 days. When I cannot train because I have to sit out so long to heal or repair I start to get depressed and it sucks. I train mma 3 hours a night every night I physically can because I love being at the club and teaching people and training hard.

I can't live life just going to work every day and then going to bed hoping to recover in 4 more days so I can train hard for another 4 days and have to rest another 4. I love sports. I have two sons I want to be able to train with teach sports too.

Well I thought I would share my story in case there are others like me out there in the universe. I need a friend/mentor.

All very well put!.. I am 45 bro I started my first cycle at 41 and I am in the best shape I have been in my whole life with diet and hard work at the gym. Blood work is very important to know where you are. My first cycle was 500 mg a week of Test Cyp pined 2x a week and I was hooked. PLEASE do your homework it will make a world of difference. I spent a year of research before I did anything.

Best of luck!

We have a lot in common. I struggled with the decision to try peds for years. As a young man I was very competitive both in sports and in the military as well as my job as a fitter welder which is very physical as well. I started noticing the recovery time around 35 and old injuries started creeping back up on me. I suffered through depression as well. I decided to bite the bullet at 36 and it changed my life for the better. It is the best decision I've ever made. I did a lot of research before I did my first cycle and I wish I would have had this site to guide me along the way. I learned everything through trial and error but after five years I finally know what works best for me. It has seriously improved my quality of life. This is just my experience. I will tell you you came to the right place. There is a wealth of knowledge here and these guys will help steer you in the right direction. A lot of good guys on this site. Good luck man
