Question about coming off an injury about whether to bulk or cut.

ad

All right I just about blew both of my rotator cuffs went from small to major over a few months and stoped working out end of August till about january Took 4 months off from training lost the 20lbs I worked hard for 7 months for and my cut. Been training now bout 2 months not on gear just to get back into it I'm at about 75% on my lifts except squats I'm still at 30% (pisses me off) while I was on gear bulking. Ive since put on some size and cut on shoulder/arm back but still major love handles.

Wonderin if I should cut up first then put on muscle while still having abs like before or just try to bulk then cut. I'm an ectomorph so naturally skinny and normally never look like this. And those 20lbs meant a lot. Any advice will be appricated

Do a recomp get back into your training for a few months ,toss some cardio in to lower your bf and for heart health, get a diet all planned out . Kind of on the fence about a cycle because you dont want to get moving to fast as far as throwing around poundage with the feeling of being on and all that. But if you do plan on it, be safe and just do a small basic cycle. With the proper diet and training you could be back in no time, muscle memory is a real thing bro, but doing an all out bulk with heavy compound movements probably wouldnt be a smart move ,the last thing you want to do is injure a rotator cuff again as that would be no bueno to the 10th power.

Yeah I hear ya. Wasn't planning to use gear again for awhile and would already be on the bulk or cut for 2 months before starting it. I don't rely on gear it's just a supplement that should be handled with care and smarts.

I don't do flat bb bench or overhead presses anymore so I'm good there. I thoroughly warm-up and stretch them rotator 10-15 minutes before .every upper body workout day. I do incline bb bench instead of Db as it's not painful to get into place.

Prob spend another 2-4 months to fully get back into it then see where I'm at. Then back to diet strict healthy diet yay. Man I miss my gallon of water a day lol. Truly appreciate it.
