Sodium free deli meat
ad
Any one know any good brands of deli meat that have low sodium? All this packaged shot has like 20% of your daily sodium in one serving. Lately I've just been running my turkey under the sink to try and rinse off some of it, anyone know if this works?

I'm having the same problem. When i was buying the packaged slicked turkey it was full of sodium. Then I went to the deli department sodium on the whole ball has I think a third less then the packed stuff so i just get them to slice me up a couple of pounds from there.
Nope. Most shit deli meat(mrs russer/margarita/elite/sysco(subway uses Sysco)/off label shit is infused with salt and soy and preservatives...you need to purchase a good brand like boars head, dietz watson/metro deli/Mackenzie/some thuman...fine deli butcher shops have homemade top round roast beef(usually minimum or no salt added because its fresh cut top round and roasted on premise...this places usually have a homemade turkey as well...if all else fails and you cant find a good brand buy a boneless easter ham at your local grocery store then roast it in your oven and there should only be like 480 mg of salt in 2oz portions(american heart association standard for low sodium)...
