No not you Avacado123, I am referring to the actual fruit AKA alligator pear. Actually being part of the “Berry Family”, its slimy green flesh is loaded with tons of valuable nutrients. Incorporating avocado into your diet can be advantageous in many ways. Now I wouldn’t eat a whole one everyday, but they really do pack a punch when it comes to nutrition.
The average avocado has 276 calories, 1.5 g of carbs, 27 g of fat ( Mono-unsat), 4 g of fiber, and 1.5 grams of protein. The monounsaturated fat in an avocado speeds up your metabolism where as saturated fat slows it down. Ever eat a quarter pounder with cheese? Feel like a million bucks after that don’t ya’?
