I can’t speak from experience with his oils because I’ve only used the gh but I can speak from experience on pinning...
Sure, sometimes it can be the depth but I’ve experienced exactly what you’re having trouble with and I highly doubt that. I currently backload slin pins MWF 1/2in 28g and injecting oil that’s MCT based. No additives other than your typical BB and BA. Never had an issue with the “depth” with this oil.
HOWEVER. Doesn’t matter what depth I used whether it was 1/2” or 1” or 1.25” or 1.5” length needles with 23g 25g or 27g... IF there was EO in the oil. Which I believe? There is with OOTB oils, coconut or mct Based. I’m absolutely allergic to EO. First brand I ever tried had it, and several others since. I can’t tolerate any of it. Guaiacol gives me some pip but nothing like the red, hard, swollen reaction that EO does. Only reason I haven’t ordered his oils and will stick to gh or tabs if/when I order again.
Just some food for thought.
pinned my old sources gear today, will wait and see if the same issue arises. if it doesnt then I might be allergic to EO and may have to unfortunately ditch this source. its a shame really OTB stuff is dirt cheap

1% of people may have an allergic reaction to EO, but then the body gets used to it and passes, as far as all producers of aas without EO and guaiacol are concerned, especially high-dose products and without the ester-free will cause pain and paralyze you, with flu symptoms because do they have to put high doses of BA and bb
For sure higher concentrations of BA and BB can definitely cause issues as well with high doses gear, which I also avoid
Molinin302I stay pretty lean, can definitely get away with the 1/2" slin pin in the delts. EO gives me pip, at least I think its the EO. No swelling, warmth, or redness, just feels like a punch for a couple days. But its only with the short esters prop and sust to be specific. In your opinion, and the discomfort is tolerable, is it the ester itself or the EO? It was my understanding that EO or similar solvent is needed to dissolve the short esters effectively?
Edit- im usually injecting 25mg ED, and added it to my glute injection before and noticed PIP, but not as remarkable.
Hey brother, so in my experience not only cannot I not tolerate EO but I also can’t tolerate short esters. I’ve tried to pin prop 100mg/ml from 3 or 4 different sources over the years, GSO with EO, MCT with and without EO, and Safflower oil. Couldn’t tolerate any of it. EO gave me the infection resembling PIP, but even without EO I still had terrible PIP for at least 4-5 days. Couldn’t train. So I avoid short esters in general. Sust hasn’t been quite as bad for me but still packs some punch.
EO definitely isn’t needed for short esters but they may require higher BA or BB content. I’m not sure. Best to ask a local domestic source that brews imo
Molinin302Thanks bro, its not that bad for me, but yes to the short esters. Even though the pain sucks, some about prop and sust just hits a lot different. I can say I've never tried a full ml, theres absolutely no way. Definitely be doing the pimp walk. If I can walk...

yeah the .7ml of his test e still feels like a lump and it hurts, not an infection not redlump ad injection site. Probably an EO allergy

I shoot 8 places by the time it comes back around its gone. Except my one cheek I double up and its a big spot blown up
used another source that doesnt have EO to pin, 12 hours later I have slight pip but will keep updated if anything changes and if I only have problems with johns gear. I did use his test E not his deca though, so if i do have a problem Ill do it with the sources test and deca but the deca was 1.5ml and johns was .7ml
Molinin302Wasn't expecting to hear test e, didn't think it was used in the preparation of long esters. Only BA/BB...? I dunno, at the end of the day all of our bodies are different.
John has said they use EO in all his oils, which is why I haven’t ordered any :(
Molinin302I'm unfamiliar with processes, I'm still learning new 5hings every day lol. After doing a little research I'm seeing compound pharmacies use it and the drug manufacturers advise it in the preparation. I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on why, but I'd have to assume it serves a purpose? Besides PIP? Lol

I had a similar issue with other gear (not this source) in the past. I suggest you go at least 1inch deep and inject way way slower. Also take time to slowly draw the needle part way out...wait a few, then pull out completely. Get the gear to make a nice depot deep in the muscle so it doesn't sink. If the deca wasn't troublesome it may have been MCT oil, but the other thinner stuff may have been made with that fractionated coconut oil/not a fan.
I've always pinned the oil. I then leave the pin in and count to 30 seconds. Before I started doing this, I would have oil leak out of the injection spot for no reason. It's how I got caught by the wife the first time. It would leave a spot on my briefs.
Comes out because it needs to go deep, more than 1 inch in shoulder, two inches would be ideal in big muscles, definitely you would not have more pain

I think 1” is perfect you dont need to use bigger size for shoulder, for glutes you need 1.5 inch.
My favorite size for shoulder is 1” 23g or 25g
better is 1.5 inch

big guys also use 19g for big delts, 2 inch
