I got raided by the feds for things involving USPS (got snitched on) and they only investigated and watched me for 4 days before doing a controlled delivery, then didn’t even charge me federally for any of it. I just got state charges for things allegedly found in my house during the raid, as well as what was in the package.

Another anecdote, I had a package of gear set to be delivered 3 days after I was raided, and after I bonded out of jail they tried to deliver it to me. I just left it sitting where they left it until they came and picked it up like a week later. Ended up getting a letter saying something to the degree of “we believe this package contains hazardous and/or illegal substances, come prove to us what’s in it and you can have it back”. They weren’t able to use a drug dog to get a warrant to open it like they did with my other package, so nothing ever came of it.
