Unfortunate but such the sad truth for ladies in the gym. Hate that shot heads have to put this vibe off but true. I love this one girl in my gym bc she lays into every guy that approaches her. I just watch and I swear she is gonna break her foot off one day in a guys ass one day soon. Won't be mine bc I keep my hoody up headphones in and give her 20 ft minimal. She's a badass

LOL ... Some of those bikini pro;s are smokin hot too... but everyone is either friends or just have mutual respect for each other

I don't think the guys do it on purpose, at least that's what I tell myself lol It's funny because the big guys, the ones who look like pros or retired pros are always super nice. It's all the other guys that act like douchebags. The way our gym is set up, you have to walk upstairs to get the the weights room, it's all glass so as soon as you hit the stairs you can feel the eyeballs. lol
When I'm with my husband everyone is nice and I feel comfotable. If he's not with me I stare at the floor because if I make eye contact with some schmuck he thinks it's an invitation. Being a woman can be annoying.
Mile high eh' we lived out that way for a few years.
You see that at my gym, it's almost female free in the weight section, although I feel a lot of women aren't bothered about lifting too.
However there are a few regular girls who are their regularly, 2 of em that spring to mind would kick most of the men's asses lol. I'd love to see some unlucky dude try talk shit to them, it'd be priceless!
Yeah I wish I was more of a badass, but I'm not. I'm more likely to stand there with a stunned look on my face than tell someone to f off. Though I always think of something I should have said later.
And that's exactly why my wife wouldn't have gone back to the gym if I wouldn't have forced it lol...the idiots made her uncomfortable. I got her all pumped up now tho and got her all laughing at ppl while we are there...not that we are mean, but I have to be honest that some of us are just in a class of our own here ;-)
She is kind of the same way, that why I switched gyms so I could work with her... And thank you, she's my better half I'll stand up for her till the day I die

The guy couldn't defend himself if his life depended on it, but I'm gonna make it known that if it happens again I don't care how fucked up he is, I will lay a beatin on him, and he is going to apologize to my wife.... AnonYa its total bull to disrespect someone's wife like that. I'm beginning to think a lot of people are on pain medication or some other medication because some people just say shit without hesitation. I've had to look at people sometimes and do double takes like I know you just didn't say that.
I can dig it brother, I think it's just people aren't taught morals and respect anymore, I'm only 28 but I was brought up a certain kind of way... You treat woman with respect you don't step out of line with another mans lady etc etc... People are just on some free for shit anymore and it's flat out sad to say the least

My head is finally coming back around a little and now I need to make big decision for work on to take this promotion or not and relocate 7 hours from family. Wish me the best of luck bro bc my anxiety is thru the roof. Better job but prolly be more slapping employees around they will just be higher ups haha

Actually no and big reason I'm even considering. Single with no kids but entire family is here and very close. Very close with my mom and dad here and still help them out on weekends with yard work bc only 15 minutes away.

Well I can totally understand and be empathetic about that...being close to mom and dad, being the good son and helping them out. However...don't ever let good opportunities go by and I am sure your folks want your success and personal growth to be the best thing for you. I think they would understand...I want better for my kids than what I chose to do.
I squandered and pissed away several opportunities in my twenties and ended up 'locked up' cuz of things. Promotional opportunities are few and far btwn brother IMO.
