Merry Christmas Smile
Question for you Grrl followers,
I find my paranoia kicks in when I see the register user section on the Kodiak website. For some reason I feel safer sending an email to a SRC with my mailing info, with hopes they will delete my info after a transaction is complete.
Do you Grrl regulars feel secure leaving your real contact info on the website? Can you order from Grrl w/o registering on the website?

DBG's picture

Haha...I have my info all over like at least two dozen source pages. I don't care. I've been to prison plus I know they aren't coming after my small potato drug buying ass ;-)

Older School's picture

I feel pretty secure.

Just took some halo...gonna go F$&K that bar up tonight, heavy deads 4x2...5th set AMRAP. After a long ass work day of busting my ass for table scraps ;-/

kodiakGRRL's picture

you go .... back day was yesterday ... now I m pulliing down 185 for sets and reps with the wide bar grip.. got to get back to deadlifting heavy I m quite certain that I can blow 375 for sets and reps no problem ;-)

DBG's picture

375...now that's pretty awesome grrl. I'm still messing with mid 400's myself. I won't test my max till I hook up with a strength coach here in new year

kodiakGRRL's picture

I ve been laying off the heavy stuff.. trying to get a bit bigger and pack on the weight.. I m hoping to break 230 and stay there but I m winding down here the next six weeks

DBG's picture

230...hahaha. I'm 233 right now ;-)
I laid off the heavy stuff for months, but since after 8 wks post hernia fix (which 8 wks was around end of October), I've got back into lifting deads, bench, squat 70-80% ORM days...adding 5-10lbs lift/wk...I got one dynamic day in there too. So actually one workout day/wk I don't do a heavy lift on either dead, squat or bench. Just depends on how it gets pushed wk to wk if any of that makes sense^...to you, how I said it

kodiakGRRL's picture

I haven't done a power cycle since last winter... and truth be told they aren't much fun .. no arm work, too much rest ..lol.. the only thing I really like about them is eating ;-) .... I lost a lot of weight when I was sick at the end of the summer.. I was down to 205 and it's been a chore getting back up there but I m doing it holding around 220 and think maybe I can get it back to 230 and stay without getting too chunky in the process ;-)

DBG's picture

Wow 205...were you getting kinda ripped tho? Even if it was illness related?

And yes...I've been eating like a champ! I love it right now. And I'm enjoying the power cycling...since I had a hard time for years lifting with a hernia. Def have new hurt going on with my muscles, tendons, joints tho. Oh and I do arm work, on my dynamic day for sure...but I'll even add it on my bench day right after, something for a quick pump ;-)

kodiakGRRL's picture

ugh .. I felt small ..lol... but yes lost a lot of fat too.. which was nice .

yeah I seem to know when I m over doing it when my bones start to hurt ... lol.. usually my forearms and elbows, sometimes wrists too but not so much since I stopped going so heavy with high volume .. but damn me if I can do it then I feel like I have to go that hard ... otherwise what's the point .?

oh, I got an arm day while I was on the power cycle it was a crumb because it really does make a big difference if you don't do them ... I just can't not do them though .. I ve broken the 16.5 inch mark with a partial bicep pump ... I m reaching for the 17in mark ... I want it bad ;-)

JL's picture

Are you referring to your weight at 230?

kodiakGRRL's picture

yes I am referring to my weight ;-)

JL's picture

Damn your Super Grrl, that's awesome. I'm only at 215 three weeks into a bulk. I'm going to go eat spaghetti and meat until I explode.

kodiakGRRL's picture

I eat chips, pizza, burgers, .peanut butter toast.... lol.. thats why I ll never make it below 10% bf... but I m not getting up on stage so I don't really care.. maybe one of these days someone will talk me into it but until then... but the one thing I do is make sure that my meals always have enough protein to balance them out so if I do carb out I m also eating protein ..

JL's picture

Protein is key! Last summer I cut down to 190 by August @ 8-10%bf. I lost a lot of strength but looked amazing. Mentally I hated it because I like to lift heavy and felt I was going backward.

In September I came off test even my trt dose just to take a break. This was a bad idea. Got busy with life, didn't eat well at all and work outs suffered when I went. Started back on December 1st and already broke a pr on squats at 405. I'm on an all out bulk tell March and May extend it if my weight isn't up.

Oh and on joint pain 5g of msm a day works wonders. Takes a few weeks to take full effect. I've been using it off and on for years.

kodiakGRRL's picture

funny you say that about msm... I have a huge jug of it for the horses ;-)

I usually experience pain mid to end of cycle when i've been lifting too heavy and at a high volume .. muscles are growing too fast for my tendons and joints. I usually end up having to back off for a few weeks drop the weight and go for the pumps

JL's picture

lol I've heard that before. Now I just need to mix in some eq with it and I will be a race horse. Plus change my user name to seabiscuit! Neigh

Harley1969's picture

Seabiscuit LOL. That's what my Wife call our son because he has horse legs. The boy could squat over 500lbs when he was 17 and still holds his HS bench press record @365lbs.This was at a body weight of 220lbs. Now he's just very recently married, weighs 337lbs and works out at planet fitness. :(

Planet Fitness?!!? Oh no :-/
