Definitely a driver issue there. The gt will dust that vw. I hit 110 in 4th with lots of power and gears to go. Plus the stang is at least a whole second faster 0-60.

You forget that the VW community is full of tuners. My VW is 450whp. I haven't been on a dyno after I installed my meth. I bet I'm close to 475 with that.

If we are talking aftermarket tuned and modified, then that is a whole new ball game. I was thinking stock up above. That's a lot of HP for a VW. Very nice.

nice .... I have several that we work on but my ultimate is the 03/04 cobra terminator ;-)

Cobra's are always sick. The early 2000's had some really nice mod stangs rolling around. Really wasn't much out there for American muscle. I wish I could get the new gt350 or gt350r. Talk about the full package from street to track it appears to excel in all areas.
