My wife had to have surgery Tuesday & so our Thanksgiving was a little different. A good friend who wanted to help us made my wife a salted caramel pecan pie. It was my first time trying it & my my my it was delicious

Thanks my friend! She’s recovering slowly, but I’m thankful she’s alive to recover!! A woman having the same surgery is still in ICU with severe septic infection due to the dr accidentally cutting a bowel.
Thats terrible! I have heard so many horror stories from my local hospital similar to that womans situation. A person goes in for , what should be a simple procedure, and end up losing a leg, their ability to speak or their life because of something preventable. And this place is supposedly in the top 5% of hospitals in the nation. Bullshit!
