Small amount of baking soda in water will reduce lactic acid. And you'll be able to do more reps.
I've never actually tried this but may give it a shot before deads next time, when doing reps first thing to burn is often my legs from the acid build up and once that happens its pretty much over.
It works great just don't use too much or you'll have a loose stool.
You can put the baking soda in little baggies that are ready to put in your bottle of water. It's very convenient when you're at the gym

Gnarly stomach acid issues and taking my DMAA pre with eaa and creatine intraworkout makes me nauseous af so I slam a teaspoon of baking soda an hour before my work out and everything glides smooth
So does it also help if you tend to suffer with acid reflux during longer training sessions too? Would save me taking Antacid tabs too in that case.
FUCK yea. Baking soda is a life saver . I’ll take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and I don’t have to take anything for my acid reflux during the day. Be careful on dosing though cuz too much will make you squirt (the butt kind)
