Ohh Yeh buddy! I've always known you live in the middle of nowhere, I just find it funny that seeing things like that is fairly normal to you. I'd need to go to an exotic pet shop here to see those - thats if you can even buy them here nowadays.
We mostly have Copperheads and Water moccasins, which are quite venomous. Not much on Rattlesnakes.
The rest you'd see are non-venomous. We have Speckled Kingsnakes (very docile) that are beautiful, always a random pattern.
I dunno man, those Copperheads are pretty nasty things. I've seen the youtube videos where they paralyse the mouse!! What about venomous spiders?
Oh they are the worst. Almost impossible to see as they blend in with ground, leaves, etc almost perfectly. Always wear boots outside....

Sooooo, one morning on my way home from work, wife sends me pic of huge ass rat snake in our kitchen. She's freaking the fuck out. Walked in waking up, turned on light, boom its across the floor. Got home about 10 min later, had to move out the fridge (went behind it) and finally go it out with rod. Was like 4-5', so even though non-poisonous, it got her attention

Black Widow's affect the nervous system. Depends on persons reaction, usually just treat symptoms as they arise. There is an antivenin I believe for extreme Rx.
