It's an easy example to give, but you didn't weigh a 10oz. steak, you visited an under ground website, and purchased a 10mL vial of Testosterone Propionate, which was labelled as 100mg/mL, but tested independently at 83mg/mL. The process of producing a 10mL vial of Testosterone Propionate is slightly different to weighing a 10oz. steak, but I'll try to use your example as best I can.
When the chef weighs the steak on his scale and sees 10oz. he then throws it on the grill where heat is applied and the meat cooks. During cooking the meat will inevitably lose some moisture and the weight will go down a little. Depending on how you asked for it to be cooked (I'm a medium rear man myself) you will lose different amounts of moisture and weight. By the time the steak is on the plate in front of you it most likely doesn't weigh 10oz. any more.
When the raw hormone is converted, the exact weight of raw hormone to be added into the carrier oil will have been weighed correctly so that there is 100mg/mL. Sometimes different batches of raw hormones can have different properties and thus require different ratios of solvents. In this case I would say that maybe a little extra Benzyl Benzoate would have been added to prevent the hormone from falling out of suspension. If only small increments of solvent are added then it's acceptable to not add any more hormone and leave the ratios as they are. This would mean the ratios have in effect adjusted the hormone content from 100mg/mL to 83mg/mL. In this business 83% is considered good.
I believe I've already been through this similar thing recently with another guy on this thread and it boils down to whether you would consider this an acceptable result. You feel that 83% isn't acceptable then fair enough... Each to his own as you said...

I used AM-Tech Prop in the past and as MD stated, you always need to expect an underdosage or even overdosage on UGL. It's simply not pharma and I think, you should always keep that in mind when it comes to purchasing stuff.
I'll always have some kind of trust in MD due to I personally experienced the AM-Tech issue back last year and it has been handled so well, where others would have just leave you bleeding out.
Further I 2.nd the things mentioned. Look at other labs which are produced in a much higher fashion and claim to be "super professional" and still came back with the same results. The more a lab claims to be high end or near pharma grade, the more I'd expect tbh
To be honest when you compare that to shree and pharmacom that was recently tested produced in multi million pound labs£££

Everyone would of loved to see it over dosed slightly but I'd happily use that knowing the results I no what I'm working with and can adjust accordingly ;-)

That was me. And if you look I'm the one that started this thread. I noticed the same lot# and exp on both the test e and the prop. Any chance they messed up while applying the labels on the test e.
Good explanation! Its a ugl for the love of god, 83% is pretty good,would we all prefer 100%?yes! But for an illegal ugl its good enough and realistically probably what we've always been getting tru the underground lab scene for years and its what were used too,not like I can go to the local chemist and get a vial of test p over the counter,just my two cents!:)
When I started with gear in late 90s the main issue on the black market was "is this stuff non-sterile cooking oil or is it legit?".
The fact you can anonymously buy almost every kind of compound (couldn't even buy tren, mast or orals apart from dianabol or anadrol) and are debating not the fact it is actually the compound as advertised, more or less, but that the dosing level is 20% off; this is actually encouraging to me.
I might just be stuck in the pre-internet mentality but the fact it even has the compound as advertised in a decent dose is good. Obviously we would like the goods to be 100% dosed but the manufacturers aren't multinational drug companies and probably rely on the raw material producers being up to standard, which they probably aren't. I think this is also reflected in the price (general statement not MD necessarily).
Totally agree bud,I think with so much competition between labs these days and so many options we have, that the labs will have to step up there game and get closer to 100% in the near future,news spreads like wildfire on the net,a bad test result and its a big set back for a labs rep!
