+ 1 wtf is in this?
ad
This is a bottle of test e. I have 2 of these. Both bottles was cloudy when I got them, like a milky substance in it. I heated the bottles, that cloud went away. But if u Look toward the end of the bottle, you can see what Looks like a piece of fuzz. This will not go away No matter What's done. Any ideas on what this is?

Thanks for the feedback fellas. I just wanted some insight on this. To see if anyone has run into this or not. Could be fiber, could be fuzz, who knows... but I don't think I'll B's using these anytime soon. I did get in touch with the source and they are gonna replace them for me. Can't beat that. Thanks again
If it was me I'd trash it. I can't see the debris your talking about, but I've got bottles before like that. I toss em, I tossed two bottles from a source on here. Not worth the trouble they could potentially cause. It's always the FIRST thing I look for too, I take my phone led light and shine it in every bottle to check for debris. I'm sure your supplier would have zero issues replacing them for you either.
I've had that in a bottle that crashed and would not dissolve with heat. The source replaced it. When I used the .20 micron Whatman it actually filtered out the Hormone also, even after being heated and looked good except for the crap.
Something got in so best bet to use .22um what man filter to new sterile vial
Then should be gtg
We know what happens when gear crashes which is what most would assume this is right off the bat. But crashed gear will go back into suspension when heated as any crystals dissolve again. Even if only temporarily. The OP told me he heated it and this white flaky stuff is still present. It almost looks like skin as disgusting as that sounds.
This may be of some use to you.

AnonBrother, your dealing with ugl labs. Things happen and sometimes pieces of the filter get into gear, it happens to the best labs. Ive used gear from top labs that have had the same issue with a hair from a filter or alittle speck. It should be good to use if you trust the lab and have used them before. If you really feeluncomfortable tranfer the oil to another steril vial and make sure the speck is not transfered.
I agree... I'd go with filter fiber
I think he knows that shit like this happens. I'm pretty sure he is asking if anyone has any idea wtf that is in the bottle. Looks like fuzz or mold. Just odd. Not rubber
Exactly! I know things happen like this. Even if I did filter it into another bottle, that doesn't seem too safe either. I'm sure whatever it is has contaminated the oil... And it does Look more like a piece of fuzz. It doesn't act as rubber would act in liquid. I have another bottle also. It has this same thing going on plus it has a spec of what Looks like metal or aluminium. I'll post up a pic of that one also.
I would tell the source. Then I would break out a syringe filter.I would filter after you heat it.You will lose a little gear but it will give you piece of mind. If it is just one small fiber you can chase it down with pin and suck it out(or not worry about it). I have done that many times for the rubber stopper. I bought a bunch of gear from a source that had shitty stoppers. Ended up giving gear away after a while but 1 or 2 vials would not be a big deal.
