Get the prescription strength Vitamin D. It’s cheaper and much much better imo. Any doc will prescribe it. I also use B12 subq weekly... getting older sucks.

I'm chronically deficient in Vitamin D, in fact I have some sitting right next to me I'm going to take after this post. Some people are just resistant, I'm outside a lot but my body just hate's the sun

I supplement with 5000iu d2 + k2 daily that was a game changer for mood, cognition, and energy. The k3 is essential to your body using the vitamin d.

Yes, I have stage 3b ckd so that lowers my vitamin D levels

Is that based off a Creatinine or Cystatin C eGFR mate?

Did you get this from running steroids?

nails337's picture

Egfr. Creatinine

press1's picture

Get another one done mate measuring your cystatin c level and I guarantee the result will be much better. I got one done a month ago and my eGFR was 20 points higher!!

Anyone with a good amount of muscle, drinks protein drinks, takes creatine, exercises within 72 hours of blood test and uses steroids will get a worse reading than normal humans it was designed for.

TeaBody's picture

you got kidney disease from taking Creatinine? I didnt know that was possible

Not creatine. Creatinine. Its a waste product produced by muscles. Healthy kidneys filter it

but also, creatine can cause kidney damage if used improperly with poor hydration

UncleYoked's picture

You got Creatine confused with Creatinine.
Creatinine is the waste from breaking down muscle and creatine. His EGFR and creatinine levels are elevated showing kidney disease, stage 3 is bad, requires a lot of care to slow progression

If he got it using steroids then it will likely stabilize and level when he comes off the hard stuff and just uses things like Test and NPP etc. Orals and Tren will bring it down again. Ibuprofen and antibiotics decrease it too - HELL even Blood pressure meds decrease it temporarily too by around 10%, key is to use these things no longer than 6 to 8 weeks then eGFR increases back to previous levels again. Its staying on things like Tren for 6 months that permanently decreases eGFR.

UncleYoked's picture

good point, it really depends on if it's permanent or just temporary stress from anabolics.
