Yeah it just looked stupid didn't it, he was never going to get that. It wasn't massively long ago they both hit 5 plates per side and I was shocked they managed that given how sloppy their training is - their bench form has always been shitty just laying flat backed on the bench, never look tightened up and always leave the fuckin collars off either end with the 45's rolling up and down the sleeves. I've seen them miss big lifts purely because they didn't put the collars on and the plates move along and unbalance the bar, what kind of dumb arsehole does that especially when shooting videos.
Pretty much, it is very easy to see that their form is shotty in a bunch of places. It’s scary honestly. The really fucked up thing is; this is the type of shit social media is rewarding right now and that’s why they’re doing it.
