+ 7 Using ION counts for compound concentration calculations from (UPLC)
A question was asked earlier in one of the labs I posted that questioned the use of ION counts as a basis of measure for compound concentration estimation. This was a very good, honest question. I took the question as it was written (copy and paste) and sent it directly to the Dr. that runs the lab. He was very pleased to see the level of enthusiasm and intellectual thinking that has been cultivated with these labs. He, of course, is a faculty member and a research scientist as well. He teaches at the Graduate and PhD level. So, he made an assignment of the question to his PhD and Grad students. A round table discussion was held and the best of the science based rebuttals was selected. He indicated this was a "fun" assignment as no one has questioned this approach nor has anyone had to qualify and quantify the reasoning! All in all, a good lesson.
So, I want to thank Vandaly05 for their question I hope this detailed reply will answer any lingering questions!

Hey, your question was a great question! I would hope the reason for this forum is to educate all and enlighten us all to new information. hey beaker, thanks again for doing all these tests. i was curious, have you ever considered testing serms from some of the top research chem sites? i think good serms and ai's are a bit harder to find then steroids. and although bloodwork can prove whether an ai works or not, i believe the only effective test for serms may be mass spec.
I have a few lines in the water .. and hopefully something will bite... I agree... blood work is AFTER you already know it is or is not working..... Mass Spec.. will cure that..
