You know it brother! Just getting the feel of being back in the gym this week. I know it's gonna be a tough run at first, but I'm ready to punch through it.

I'm getting there. I'm obviously still not walking unassisted, but I'm crutching around alot better. I start physical therapy this week. See what happens when I actually put weight on it. I have started lifting again, upper body only anyway, but it's probably gonna be that way for a while. Thank God I don't have genetically small legs. I'd be looking like Heckle and Jekyll. Lol

Is it about 11 weeks now since it happened mate? Have you been able to see it yet with all the dressing off and things or are you still bandaged up?

10 weeks now and yeah I've seen it fully unwrapped. It's definitely a little deformed. Lol! Ankle bone gone on both sides of the ankle. I got a few inch scar on one side and probably 6 inch or better on the outside of the leg. Doesn't give me the option to post a pic of it for ya.

Just create a new post mate, I am interested to see how it looks - I cannot image not having an ankle! Only obviously if you want to Smile Are you able to make it over to the gym now then?

I have started going this week. I'm kinda trying to ease back into it a little. Trying to get used to some of these movements without having my feet planted firmly. I'm a huge form person. it's odd feeling for sure

I guess you lose a lot of stability when lifting, it will make the movements stricter though if you can master the technique. I guess its like Larsen bench pressing - thats a pig to do at first!
