+ 2 Pre-cycle Blood Work 2013-02-15
ad
Here's my blood work from my Dr.'s visit on Feb. 15, 2013 when I enquired about TRT. I was told by my doc that my test levels were too high to warrant TRT. I shortly thereafter found eroids! Thank goodness for this site. It's certainly a goldmine in many aspects.

Can someone explain the test number? It seems peculiar in that it's only xx.x format. What's the verdict on my overall health? My doc says results are 'perfect', but I don't like that word. Optimal perhaps? Thanks for all 'qualified' feedback. Yes, please have some experience in deciphering lab results. I really appreciate it!
WithdrawlLooks like they just tested your free testosterone and not testosterone serum. Usually they do test serum or both. Everything else looks good except your BUN and bun/creatinine ratio are fairly high. That's a kidney function category I believe. High protein intake, supplementing with creatine, heavy exercise, and lots of muscle mass can affect those numbers. Maybe someone else can chime in that knows a little more on the specifics. Other than that your numbers are pretty good.
beadhandBPU right withdrawal that BUN is high that's hard on your liver might want to get another test done man kidney stones casta them numbers can shut your kidneys down average 6-24 he's double
Thanks bro. I didn't know what the BUN thing meant. But the causes you mentioned: high protein intake, supplementing with creatine, heavy exercise, and lots of muscle mass, make a lot of sense except for the lots of muscle mass. Although for my small frame, I do have some mass and I take a lot of creatine, protein, and certainly exercise quite a bit.
At my next visit, I'll dictate the specific tests I want. Hopefully, It'll be covered by insurance as this one was.
Wait until I go on cycle. These numbers will be vastly different. :-D
I appreciate your input.
